That is why I am invested heavily here.I work on 65 dollars & 2.75 dollars oil & gas.Thank you, Tony, please do post such nuggets here as well.Gl all----tonynorstrom1, Posts: 2,244, Price: 15.20RE: RNSToday 10:42I think good news for investors and should support the share price - a good piece of thinking outside the box by the BOD imo although i'm sure some will find cause for complaint.Just to demonstrate how progressive and secure the dividend should be - I plugged in $55 and $2.50 (Oil & Gas Price) to see what would happen if there was a bit if a down turn - if i3e slashed Capex to $12m just to cover maintenance and increased the payout to 40% (which they have discussed before) - then they could still payout this dividend and have cash left over to cover debt repayment. Quite a margin of safety and not many company specific risks short of an accounting scandal.

I've also put some in an ISA this morning. But that doesn't mean no dividend withholding tax will be applied as it is for some other shares like DEC. But if what Basem said is correct then there is no tax on i3e.

Shame we still have a background seller. I3e has transformed itself over the last 2 years and is about as good as it gets as a safe undervalued dividend paying stock with huge upside thrown in for free.

Yes with a total of over 200mmbbls recoverable for the I3E targets it could certainly be a standalone making the infrastructure around Blake or Captain irrelevant. My point being is that 8000bopd and 10mmbbls is quite modest to support the day rate costs of that FPSO. I wasn't at the time thinking about the available capacity of those mature assets but rather the scale. Tain is tiny given the estimated scale of even Serenity. But if Serenity is smaller than anticipated there is still potential scope for development to extend the life of existing infrastructure.

If Serenity turns out to be the size most people on here believe it is, then the Tain FPSO would be of little consequence....

it would be full with Tain fluids during any period when a small Serenity Phase 1 pilot would add value, and it wouldn't be big enough for a full field development :-)

Yep fellas, regular news flow and regular payments with the added bonus of high performance assets and high commodity prices. Perfect storm. A company putting shareholders first, nice to see.

Interesting article, if little Tain is large enough to extend the life of that FPSO then there's certainly a lot of hope for the likes of Serenity/Minos high/Liberator West. It'll be interesting to see if there are any announcements around the time when Repsol mobilizes the rig to little Tain.
