08/2/2022 13:04 | There could be a few rest days, but I'd say this rise has the hallmarks of a multi-tiered correction. Traders will try to catch the top, the rest of us will sit tight through the cup-handle and take the divi. Finally the market is waking up to the fact that I3E is minting. Not just a cash cow, but a field of cash cows; and they're giving a significant amount of that cash back to shareholders on a regular basis. An oil and gas income fund with no fees. | pretax2

08/2/2022 11:38 | Unusual that Questor's bullish stance has not had a positive impact on the sp | hoper1
08/2/2022 11:25 | goodday1, I think Questor may be extrapolating from the opening statement of the last RNS: "i3's predictable, low-decline assets continue to outperform management's expectations" | fictitious1
08/2/2022 11:23 | Look how the traders, impatient & the weak are getting robbed. From experience, Questor is worth 3 to 5 per cent & without any news.As for PoO, Iran could be coming back online with a new nuclear deal.Gl all | goodday1

08/2/2022 09:58 | Seems like everyone is still in bed on this board ! Update: I3 Energy It is often trouble that comes in threes at small-cap stocks (or even large-cap ones for that matter) but, pleasingly, the opposite appears to hold true oil and gas producer I3 Energy. December's production update suggests aggregate output from the Canadian and North Sea fields continues to surprise; oil and gas prices remain firm; and as of last week the company is committing to monthly dividend payments. The targeted £11.8m total payout for 2022 equates to just over 1p a share, for a forward yield of 6.4pc. The story is heating up nicely. Keep buying. Questor says: buy Ticker: I3E | tonynorstrom1
08/2/2022 09:39 | Yes expecting the 'traders' to be selling before the weekend.... | flyer61
08/2/2022 09:31 | Traders are selling but there's limited short-term volatility to buy back lower (price in a straight-jacket). We are going to start seeing bashers talking down the company so they can get their tiny profit fix. | pretax2

08/2/2022 05:50 | Good Morning,Hopefully, the 20p+ will go before the RNs.- Ex-dividend day to be announced around the middle of February for the 1st of 10 monthly dividend payments.- The structure of the special dividend may be announced. - Purchase some new low cost producing assets financed by debt.- Or RECEIVED AN OFFER TO BUY THE COMPANY.-----I must WARN that NOT all of the above and below MAY BE delivered during the upcoming update.-----This nuget was posted before here.It has appeared again as a reminder. Thanks to Tony.tonynorstrom1, Posts: 2,269, Price: 18.80Synopsis/4th Quarter UpdateToday 04:52LSE.This is what I posted a few days ago"News expected next weeks:1) update on the sale of gas rights on inactive wells to third party2) reserves update3) NOI update4) Drilling update - how many new wells have they spud - 4 or 5?5) Work-over update on the 60+ targets they previously identified6) They previously spoke about some water flooding / enhanced recovery trials they had been doing but this is 6 months back - maybe we hear something about this.7) Serenity - I personally don't expect a farmout just yet based on the update from Tain but i would expect them putting a firmer timeline on it now that they are on the cusp of having the funds to go solo on a single appraisal well.8) Will they pull a rabbit out of the bag like last weeks dividend RNS with something totally unexpected ?9) Oh - i nearly forgot - GGG's financing facility !!"Item 8 - share price and volume have gone up with no news or apparent catalyst other than we are undervalued and the POO keeps going up. Could i3e have been buying back shares already ?Items 5 - The recent Podcast from the analyst on Youtube got me thinking about the Cenovus assets and also i3e's capital program. If you take i3e's projection for the added oil due to the Capital Program and divide by the number of wells - the production numbers seemed optimistic based on i3e's own experience on recent wells - possible however as some wells brought online recently by Baytex were producing up to 600 - 800 bopd but still as an average its seemed optimistic. Not all the $47m was earmarked for wells as I3e have pointed out - some was for workovers and I think what we might see is significant production added by the Cenovus assets on some of the +/- 60 workovers that I3e have spoken about.I think expectation now is pretty high so lets hope for the sake of the share price - i3e deliver !Gl all | goodday1
08/2/2022 00:35 | Hi King S. Your first paragraph describes my own circumstances too. At the time it was obvious that i3e had screwed up quite badly but it was unclear if that was a reliable indication of their general competence. They went on to make some pretty good moves in Canada and so far they seem to be demonstrating that they know what they are doing. Having re-entered at 10-11p I have added several times. I should confess that I had an accident at one point when I executed a pocket trade (SELL) unintentionally - like a pocket phone call. I was disappointed that HL refused to undo that accidental trade so I had to buy back and swallow the overhead. However I am currently 42% up overall, so not complaining. i3E is my biggest holding and represents around 17% of my portfolio - which includes both savings and pension funds. | tournesol |
