16/1/2014 07:34 | Wow great LFL figures , cycling + 20%, total group + 6% and autolcentres plus 0.1% as well over the 15 week period.A new MD is appointed too for autocentres. Much much better figures than one had hoped for my prediction was totally wrong but I'm not complaining not when the bell rings! | kendonagasaki
16/1/2014 07:08 | Key Points for the 15-week Period · Cycling: significant growth across the board including an excellent performance from Accessories and Children's bikes · Car Maintenance: strong sales of Workshop tools partially offset by subdued demand for parts and winter products. Fitting of parts reached record levels despite the mild weather conditions · Car Enhancement: improved year-on-year Car Cleaning performance outweighed by an increased decline in Sat Nav · Travel Solutions: seasonal and kids' offers resonated well, accompanied by growth in Travel Equipment · Online Retail: sales grew by 13.8%, with online representing a record 11.7% of total Retail sales · Autocentres: improved LfL performance with a further four centres opened; new MD of Autocentres appointed Financial Position and Outlook There has been no material change in the Group's financial position which remains sound. Whilst the mix of sales in the period towards Cycling will have adversely influenced the Retail gross-margin performance, our expectations and all guidance for the full year remain unchanged. | skinny
15/1/2014 20:10 | Good luck tomorrow Kendo - just don't know what these will say so I'm just watching at the moment with just a small few to keep me interested. Got THT DXNS and HOME with results tomorrow - three in one morning is enough really but a tiny few here won't make much difference :-) CR | cockneyrebel

15/1/2014 11:07 | This is going to boom tomorrow. I've waited for it to fall over the last few weeks but it's not happening. Halfords had a great Christmas on rip-speed and bikehut. There Internet sales were at the highest ever point too. Results to be released a.m tomorrow. | nick9013
15/1/2014 06:10 | JP morgan rate HFD as one of their top ten picks for 2014.They reiterate on the strength of the current management at the helm especially Matt Davies and his dynamic ability towards gravitating change and turnaround. He has already demonstrated these skills with Pets at Home and They quote they are only looking at companies with excellent management at the helm to deliver growth this year.I would say JP morgan are long too. | kendonagasaki
14/1/2014 08:30 | Damn it!!! Go down will you!!I have not invested in halfords only traded them however if the results are fantastic then they may be well on track to deliver substantial gains they have promised the city.HFD trade at a p/e of 16, the divi return is a reduced 3% return and if the turnaround that is expected to come in 2015 then we should see a rise in EPS of 9%.May be worth a long hold not long till 2015? | kendonagasaki
14/1/2014 08:19 | Hey it's looking good, if it can drop another 10 pence or even more I will be more than happy to execute my long positions.2 more days to go! I hope we are not disappointed rumours are it's going to be a good announcement! | kendonagasaki
