Keeps bouncing off a great support level Kendo - someone is buying these up in size when it gets here.

Compare to many other stocks and HFD has done well - I think they could post a big pleasant surprise soon imo.

All imo/dyor etc

Says that on the website Kedo but they had a pre-close last year and one in April in both the previous years so 3 April t/s in the last 3 years.

Not sure they'd have it on the website - the IMS are the only ones they might pre-announce imo.

All imo/dyor etc.

PS my local Halfords Autocentre is doing loads more business than last year but one store isn't a decent guide imo - can always be down to local factors imo. However, the way growth is picking up in the UK I reckon betting against co's have positive updates isn't a great idea in this climate, especially if a stock hasn't performed that well.

These have had great support since the site visit in March imo - the last trading update:

"LONDON--Halfords Group PLC (HFD.LN), a retailer of automotive and leisure products, said Thursday reported a 5.2% growth in like for-like revenue for the 15 week period to Jan. 10, and said that the company's expectations and guidance for the full year remain unchanged.
MAIN FACTS:
-Total group revenue for the 15 week period up 6.6%.
-Retail like-for-like revenue for the 15 week period was up 5.9%; Total retail revenue up 6.2%.
-Autocentres like-for-like revenue for the 15 week period was up 0.1%; Total Autocentres revenue up 9.2%.
-No material change in the group's financial position, which remains sound.
-Appoints Andy Randall as Managing Director of Autocentres. "

-----------------

Think I want to be long here imo.

All just my opinion/dyor etc.

LoL - last trading updates have been great, taking on a stack of staff at the autocentres and the new CEO looks as sharp as a pin imo.

Great days to buy when punters are selling anything at any price but that's just my opinion.

Trading update imminent - seen these open up 10% on a day when the updates are out quite often.

All imo/ DYOR etc.

Possibly I've traded this afew times now. Results were some of the best Halfords had in many years but it was a flop. Everyone one sold on the good news then a dive. I'd buy in around 4.45.

Why is this so volatile? Tempted now I am becoming more familiar with the range to take a small spread bet long around the 450 mark or perhaps a little higher if the markets settle

Pre-close trading update April 10 last year.

New car sales rocketing - must be good for used car sales and servicing imo.
