12/11/2018 16:47 | More than 70 MPs could force government to bring forward cut in maximum stake to April | hawaly
12/11/2018 16:45 | Welsheagle, earnings for next year are forecast to be 79.97p (down from about 85p a month or two ago), so the forward P/E is now less than 10. | buccini
12/11/2018 16:44 | With regard to cvr . New max. £2 on fobt is in the budget act , it must be voted in favour before the beginning of new tax tear otherwise it would create investment uncertainity . So £2 will finally be enacted before 27 March 2019 ( but implemented in Autumn ) and thus gvc will not pay this £700 mln. Correct me . | ecoover
12/11/2018 16:31 | I'd rather be buying at 799p than 1175p. Idiot. | woodhawk
12/11/2018 16:31 | What is the current prospective PE ratio at this price | welsheagle
12/11/2018 16:18 | 799 looking more sensible by the minute :-( | hawaly
12/11/2018 16:13 | I agree the sector is not flavour of the month although neither Hills or 888 are make, IMO, good comparatives for GVC.The best performing firm, by a distance, appears to have effectively been hit hardest.I took some more today but there doesn't seem to be any spring in it at the moment. The CVR issue is I believe the only outstanding possibility for major drops given the sheer volume of the potential payment, but my sense from another poster a couple of weeks back is that it is not due. | noujay
12/11/2018 16:07 | Noujay - No, look how much Hills have fallen and 888 have fallen even more as have the other gambling stocks. | loganair
12/11/2018 16:03 | Is there something here I'm missing - beyond quite obviously it would appear that, on top of the market malaise, somebody large is selling down. | noujay
12/11/2018 15:58 | I thoughts that everyone knew that the ADVFN trades were unreliable? | festario
12/11/2018 15:45 | Picked up a few more - this is just too cheap to say no to :) | sambessey
12/11/2018 15:29 | Yes, but they are guesstimates based on the mid-price. They are not accurate because the posting of trades can be delayed dependent on the size. Furthermore even (small) traders can buy at the offer and sell on the bid. The only way you would get a reliable figure is if every trade was flagged as what it actually was - but there's no way that will happen, for obvious reasons. | woodhawk
12/11/2018 15:26 | I just check with the "trades" button at the top of the screen. They are supposed to be live from LSE. | hubshank
12/11/2018 15:21 | You can't rely on those guesstimates, Hubshank. | woodhawk
12/11/2018 14:59 | Buy volume = 3.3m sell <1m | hubshank
12/11/2018 14:58 | RIDICULOUS !! | festario
12/11/2018 14:45 | Added at 799p. Ridiculous. | woodhawk
12/11/2018 14:00 | Yes tempted myself today it's starting to look substantially undervalued | noujay
12/11/2018 13:58 | I'm accumulating a nice little pile just in case, Noujay. Acting more like an AIM share than FTSE 100 recently!! | woodhawk
12/11/2018 13:54 | If it goes below 8 I'll be absolutely shocked but it's not that far and it seems sentiment is against | noujay
12/11/2018 13:47 | Get real, Joan, most stocks have been 'collapsing' recently! | woodhawk
12/11/2018 13:33 | It's about time the board made some kind of comment about the collapse of the share price | joan of arc
12/11/2018 13:22 | Me too brownie69. Luckily I cashed in all my IMB's before they took a dive today. | woodhawk
12/11/2018 13:19 | I'm activly selling down other holdings to go all in here at these levels. Insanely cheap. | brownie69 |
