29/10/2018 13:17 | Nice! Wonder if Hammond will get round to FOBT/RGD before the close tonight? | woodhawk
29/10/2018 13:03 | This is very positive, perhaps the tax increase isn't going to be as high as speculated | noujay
29/10/2018 13:03 | Very pleased to see the bounce here. | festario
26/10/2018 20:03 | Ah, forget the no debt bit lol | trentendboy
26/10/2018 19:15 | No debt ????? | t 34
26/10/2018 19:11 | The yield alone is impressive at 4 percent or overNo debt and throwing off cashMore consolidation likely alsoOwn some of the biggest and best brands in gamingI agree, cheap prices | trentendboy
26/10/2018 18:16 | Its the season to buy excellent shares at fire sale prices. Enjoy shopping for bargains while you can. | coxsmn
26/10/2018 16:28 | The DJIA has pretty much erased all it's gains YTD, same as GVC really. I can only see myself adding to my rapidly growing GVC stake at prices any lower than this. As bonkers as the groundless slide 2 years ago, imo. In the meantime, let's see what Monday's budget actually brings as regards RGD and FOBT cap implementation. Whatever, there already seems to be a massive amount of bad news 'priced-in'. Obviously the recent excellent results and the USA prospects are currently 'worthless'. | woodhawk
26/10/2018 16:03 | Red days are becoming the norm, not helped by the slide, or should I say plunge, taking place on the Dow. So much for Trump’s bragging about how well investors have been doing under his presidency. | mylands
26/10/2018 15:29 | Noujay, He might as well have said he hasn't a clue. Rather pointless article as we will know the reality Monday afternoon. | woodhawk
26/10/2018 15:09 | Certainly of interest here:https://calvina | noujay
26/10/2018 14:38 | This is excellent isn't it - I've just bought more GVC shares at 864p - I'd have had to pay over eleven quid a while back! And what's changed - nothing apart from another reassuring trading update. Cheers Maddox | maddox
26/10/2018 06:50 | I have some gold with hgm but my favourite is copper miner caml. | coxsmn
26/10/2018 04:41 | I got my divi- been too busy trading my gold stocks, I'm still holding and looking to add, as there's no events in the company diary till Jan, the only event to wait for is Monday's budget and see how it impacts betting stocks, so I may wait till Tuesday to buy. Same with the gold stocks no news till Jan, unless the Fed Reserve changes direction. | shayadfn
25/10/2018 19:51 | Auto reinvested ? | trentendboy
25/10/2018 17:37 | Yep, divi received thanks GVC. Now re-invested in GVC! | coxsmn
25/10/2018 14:22 | No mention by anyone of the div being paud today. Too much doom and gloom. Mine has been credited to my bank account. Well done GVC. | mylands
25/10/2018 12:49 | I wasn't planning on adding today but the current share price offered too good an opportunity to pass by. I see Capital Group have upped their stake too. | coxsmn
25/10/2018 11:16 | Hubshank, Profit-taking, fear and trading. The usual suspects. | woodhawk
25/10/2018 10:22 | What is the consensus as to reason for the fall then? | hubshank
25/10/2018 08:21 | I picked up a few yesterday when the share price hit a similar point to what it was prior to the last increase (around this time last year) looking for a 5 to 10% gain and I'll be gone. | gbh2
25/10/2018 00:38 | psAs nurdin posted, I have no intention either of purchasing before the budget on the 29th..........still not sure even then, will see, will continue to research (won't bother posting up here to get anything as it seems to upset the natives) and who knows!.All the best, and many thanks to you too for providing such a warm and positive welcome! - never a good sign :) | discodave4
25/10/2018 00:35 | Oh dear, I sense we have a board here that immediately gets overly sensitive to a legitimate question by a non holder, a single question at that so not "speculating solely on negatives" as you put it. Don't worry I'm not a deramper or shorter just a curious potential investor asking a question of those that should know (and clearly some don't although they think they do - not you coxmn).Read an article about the CEO and liked his story / style / drive, looked a bit more into GVC and the fundamentals look promising, forecast PE only 12.5, 60% eps growth, peg 0.2 and have a view that they (analysts) have under estimated next years potential growth from the US for one.The only concern is that it's in a regulated sector, hence the question about RGD, other than that the risks are okay with me. Hold some Oiler's and have held mining companies so the risk here is minimal compared to those woodhawk......do you hold anything riskier or prefer a quiet life bottom picking FTSE100 stock?.By the way, I notice you have been ramping this up on other threads which I take you have no objection to........and you also seem to be overly defensive about a simple question here....oh well, will dismiss both given the current level of market panic that's about at the moment.DD | discodave4
24/10/2018 19:49 | There's plenty of other shares out there, DiscoDave4, maybe they wouldn't be quite so risky for you? What are the positives that led you to this company, one that you are - apparently - interested in investing in? Instead of speculating solely on negatives, you could just wait until Monday, from 3.30pm and then we will all know what the Chancellor may or may not do. | woodhawk |
