07/11/2018 14:50 | The FOBT bonus money - as far as I can see it's still in play if there's political chaos. | cheshiremoggie
07/11/2018 14:41 | You sound like a typical gambler--only mention your winners. It does'nt warm you to fellow respondents who are not in the least interested in your claims of always buying at the bottom and selling at a much higher price. Let's have some comments on the Company. This is not a platform for details of individual trades. | radbrooks
07/11/2018 13:41 | Personally, I like to buy cheap and sell expensive... don't know about anyone else. | woodhawk
07/11/2018 13:39 | Well of course, turning up the chance of buying more and more as the price declines would be the action of a "dummy" would it not? | hawaly
07/11/2018 13:35 | Large trade just went through at 937p - where the hell has that come from then!?! And another at 941p. These are being posted VERY late aren't they? Times are showing as 18.01?????? | woodhawk
07/11/2018 13:20 | Seems to be an absolute lot of nonsense being talked here today. Increasing my holding at 881p - now almost 10% less than I sold for a couple of days ago. I think these ridiculous swings of the last few days are the bottoming out process of the recent downtrend. This is so reminiscent of events 2 years ago. | woodhawk
07/11/2018 13:04 | Perhaps too many buying the dips...? | hawaly
07/11/2018 12:36 | Florida has always been a tricky State, despite being one that is highly sort after. Woodhawk, could it just be that GVC is being overtraded? | hubshank
07/11/2018 12:26 | What are you talking about? there is no payoff to Lads shareholders period. | coxsmn
07/11/2018 12:16 | As far as I can see Brexit chaos could have a large negative effect quite soon for GVC.Deal or no deal, if the government is voted down there will be a general election (at least one given a hung parliament scenario). The budget bill will not then go through and It will cost GVC £700m (IIRC) in payoffs to lads shareholders. The ups and down of the share price atm may well be directly linked to the fluctuating chances of that occurring.Just a theory. CM | cheshiremoggie
07/11/2018 09:07 | I'm certainly no chartist - but doesn't it currently look like its formed/forming an inverse head and shoulders pattern - marking a major reversal of the recent 3-month downtrend? | woodhawk
07/11/2018 07:55 | Florida has more barriers up. | jimmyclues
06/11/2018 17:22 | WoodyI agreeBrexit isn't relevant. But if the ftse is shorted big timeThere will be a dipBut as LTH I ain't botheted | kop202
06/11/2018 16:19 | Its all on a knife edge....and then the Dancing Queens got to get Parliaments approval for any deal | kop202
06/11/2018 16:08 | I wish I had one mylands! I have a system that works for me consistently well, which is basically a contrarian gut instinct coupled with scaling in and out. There is one indicator I have been using but I find my own instinct is usually more reliable. None of this is very scientific, but it continues to work for me so I shall continue to exploit it until it doesn't.... | woodhawk
06/11/2018 15:58 | ‘Great for trading’ if you have a crystal ball, which sadly I do not. It’s not often that I guess the way a stock will move in times of market volatility and uncertainty. Nothing that has happened over the past couple of months gives me cause to question our CEO and his very clever team of senior execs, most of whom I met at last year’s Capital Markets Day. | mylands
06/11/2018 15:51 | Great for trading, mylands! And, longer term, a great buying opportunity with a very decent divi at these levels. | woodhawk
06/11/2018 15:31 | GVC fell 6% yesterday, today it’s WMH’s turn! Some rollecoaster and not for the faint hearted. | mylands
06/11/2018 15:18 | But how high if there is a Brexit deal, and developments in America start. | welsheagle
06/11/2018 14:30 | The whole Ftse will drop on a no deal BrexitHow low could GVC go? | kop202
06/11/2018 08:55 | I was too slow to act. It didn't stay at 195 for very long. | buccini
06/11/2018 08:51 | Hold Hills - not sure if divi is sustainable but they do seem to be getting their act together | trentendboy
06/11/2018 08:13 | Any GVC holders tempted by William Hill? I don't like the company but starting to look interesting at around 195 with future P/E less than 10 and yield about 6.5%. | buccini
06/11/2018 06:21 | Interesting. If fall is related which would make sense the article below suggests less to be worried about.Even so, not great publicity | trentendboy |
