Nice article from Mashable - which has 28 million social media followers so is a popular site.

I agree, the two risks of a delay in the release of the game and the game not being good are much smaller now - will be interesting to see what the share price does this week.

Even my pre-teen daughter told me today - completely randomly in general conversation - that she'd seen a Youtube review of JWE by someone who'd had a preview and who was raving about it.

Word is spreading nicely it seems :o))

This one was only released yesterday and already has well over a quarter of a million views. It is worth trawling through the exuberant comments.

"Jurassic World Evolution - First Official Gameplay Demo"

Two big potential risk factors have been removed by my reckoning.

1. The possibility of a delay in release. It would have been most unfortunate not to capitalise on the timing of the movie. June 12 for the game is now confirmed.

2. Punters would be disappointed with the game. Far from it, judging by the reaction to the pre-release info.

For interest the librium analyst note has an average sales price of £37.5.

Finncap use a worse case net price to frontier of £20.5 and high price of £32.5.

Assuming the sales surpass 1.5 million in yr 1 its clear FDEV will be outperforming with the next franchise coming next year.

There is potential for strong share price growth from here. Question is how many units can they sell?! The quality of whats been released so far makes me think they have a high chance of selling more than that, especially when launched alongside the film.

PC was £30 at launch, less for pre order I think.I think ED had two prices £35/40.So JWE is bit high compared to those but is typical for a console game. And FD will be looking to really break into the console market this time.Cost conscious Steam players may wait for the first sale. So the money should still come in.It should really appeal to Minecraft/Cities Skylines/The Sims type players.

Also, Steam currently have all the other Frontier games and DLC packs discounted (plus the recently released "Studios Pack" at full price) and they all appear to be among the Steam "Top Sellers".

The community reaction to the information about JWE seems to be very very positive! :-)

The game is available for pre-order now so at least a little income for FDEV from the game before it is even released. I note that it is priced at £45/£50 (PC version via Steam). Does anyone recall how much Planet Coaster was launched at? Was it £30?

Just been reading around posters thoughts on reddit ref the game footage release tomorrow.

The gaming you tubers invited to the gameplay event in la have 18 million subscribers between them. Someone has written a list of them. Very clever marketing by frontier. (Assuming their feedback is positive of course)

here is the detail

Thanks bamboo, I did the same. Have been buying at 12 or below and selling as close to 13 as possible for last month or so with my trading shares. Also added to core holding on the big dips. Worked well so far. Bring on some decent game footage and hopefully good feedback this week. Fingers crossed.

So 29/03 @ 2pm the you tubers who experienced the la event and recorded their gameplay can put it online.

I assume we'll get a stock market announcement with the official game timing etc and and other relevant updates on the Thursday or before - otherwise i can't understand the use of the embargo.

Between now and June I hope to hear
- Bit of flavour on China strategy and confirmation JWE can be sold there (i noticed on steam they've been running some competition ref Chinese year of the dog for planet coaster - so china is clearly occupying some thoughts)
- JWE release date confirmed for June 12
- Positive JWE reviews - starting next week
- Next franchise title

It doesn't take much for the FDEV share price to move up or down significantly. I assume the buying today is in anticipation of the flood of news expected a week from today regarding JWE.

liberium have a buy order in for 1000 at £13.00 - its the most aggressive mm action in quite some time.

I know it sounds obvious but last 2 days sells have dried up and level 2 has been firming. FDEV really is very sensitive in both directions. Hopefully sellers have now cleared as they have had 2 months to sell and we get new buyers in to coincide with next news and JWE release to take us to new highs.
