06/12/2017 13:27 | Once the advertising starts in earnest it should highlight how (potentially) very undervalued FDEV is. JW was a massive coup for FDEV and a significant validation of the business model. | allstar4eva
06/12/2017 12:28 | the movie looks set to be hyped massively which can only help exposure and demand for FDEV! hxxps://movieweb.com | nimbo1
06/12/2017 10:26 | I read half of Bulkowski's book but then got tied up at home, technical analysis is very important along with long term buy/hold method, prefer Mark Minervini's way. | ashehzi
06/12/2017 09:48 | Thanks Bamboo. Keep up the excellent posts. | doubleorquits
06/12/2017 09:43 | double, I normally stick to daily charts. The main reason is that the chart pattern statistics provided by Bulkowski are calculated for charts on this timescale. I recommend his website and books. | bamboo2
06/12/2017 09:11 | Thanks bamboo and MF for that explanation. I’ll do some reading around the subject | nimbo1
06/12/2017 09:08 | Cheers Bamboo, What time frame do you use on your charts? Is it always daily - I notice Fingers xxd posted a chart the other day on IQE where he used a 15 minute chart? FDEV going the way of all the tech stocks at the moment - this is certainly not stock specific and possibly a great buying point. | doubleorquits
06/12/2017 08:08 | Funnily enough if you use a line rather than candlesticks and draw across the double top over the last six months you get much the same outcome. | mad foetus
06/12/2017 07:57 | Apologies for O/T but some might be interested in the flotation of SUMO DIGITAL, a UK based video game developer. | gersemi
05/12/2017 23:12 | Cheers Mark4231, useful info. The trailer on Thursday should give a useful leg-up to the pre-promotion and anticipation for the film - and therefore the game. | rivaldo
05/12/2017 23:01 | nimbo1, mf is correct. It is known that the apexes [where upper and lower trendlines converge] of triangle and wedges often indicate a potential turn in future price action. This can occur even after the price action has moved outside the triangle. I look through the charts of the stocks I am interested in, and mark all the potential apexes recording them on a day planner. They don't all come to fruition, but many do, and when they are used in combination with chart patterns and support and resistance zones, they are a very useful trading aid. This article by Bulkowski has examples and statistics, The apex in question is the apex of the current pennant, marked in blue. It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, it has on price. | bamboo2
05/12/2017 20:51 | If you draw the current uptrend and then draw a line between previous peaks you end up with a wedge which has its apex on the date bamboo mentioned | mad foetus
05/12/2017 20:45 | Bamboo can start paid classes, i guess | ashehzi
05/12/2017 20:34 | Hi Bamboo. If you have 2 mins would you mind explaining how you work out there is a turn this Friday - I thought by turn you meant temporary change in trend? | nimbo1
05/12/2017 14:27 | Ha! I've drawn some lines and can see that | mad foetus
05/12/2017 14:23 | mf, the Historical resistance will break, sooner or later... Friday 8th looks particularly promising. ;-) In fact, zooming in on the potential turn, it is centered between Thursday 7th and Friday 8th, so possibly concurrent with the film news mentioned earlier by mark. | bamboo2
05/12/2017 12:44 | Lovely riding trend since start of November. Just bounced off the bottom, top currently around 1450 | mad foetus
05/12/2017 12:23 | Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's (i.e. the film, not the game) first trailer is set to be revealed on Thursday so FDEV might get some related publicity from that. | mark4231
05/12/2017 12:14 | Chart Is looking primed! (Famous last words;-) | allstar4eva
05/12/2017 11:44 | liquidity is back again - can buy and sell in 5000 lots. | nimbo1
05/12/2017 11:39 | Took out my initial amount today, so there was (a small amount of) liquidity this morning! I've simply found what looks like a more enticing home for that risk money, nothing against FDEV, where I still have 75% of what I had first thing this morning. | hpcg
05/12/2017 11:00 | liquidity here is terrible if you are looking to buy and has been for a few trading days | nimbo1
04/12/2017 18:44 | FD on BBC Look East tonight talking about gaming industry...some footage that appeared Jurassic World related... | gconvery
04/12/2017 12:55 | Steamspy estimates some 50k copies sold during the discounted period. Its not truly accurate as it samples players and extrapolates so you see number of owners fluctuating up and down when it should really be monotonic increasing | phowdo
04/12/2017 12:36 | Is there anywhere where you can see Steam sales? If PC is at number 3 on the chart and is selling at £13.49 it would be handy to be able to work out what these additional sales equate to? | alphabeta4 |
