Given the book closes at 6pm today, i think we can assume it's fully subscribed. Expect an announcement to that effect tomorrow i would think. The thing with these placings is that it's not like us pi's get to take part so i've learnt to pretty much ignore them tbh. If you don't trust management don't invest.

i hope you are worrying about nothing there - the non exec who bought would not have been told about the placing and the close period was at an end because results had been released. Also the price they paid is significantly above the placing price so it hardly looks suspicious!

My purchase could have been timed better but in the end it means over £30m of new money buying shares in the company. It is a vote of confidence, that cannot be denied.

Yes, that was a good call, nimbo. I agree we may revisit 920 in the very short term, but my experience is the same as yours in that the market will have been very much expecting this and, once the news has been digested, it will set the scene for the price to move upwards again, with some new ii's on board. I'm a lth so i guess my time frames are different to some; for me it's all just noise at the moment until we see some concrete data for JWE which will be the level of pre-orders in i would guess May 2018? I'm happy to wait 8 months.

I think it does explain the recent price volatility. The thing to remember is that the ii's have stumped up 76% more than tencent did less than two months ago.

Probably not the fault of FDEV for the way its been handles as its the job of the brokers to run these processes? But hey WDIK, nothing surprises me on the markets these days.

Should put a nice floor under the price, particularly if it is significantly over subscribed. May dip 3% or so tomorrow morning. Better that than a constant drift down. Not too bad!

yep, i asked a few days ago if it were likely directors would sell some. It's what I would do if i were them! Ive seen it on IQE, PRISM and now FDEV. Perfectly reasonable to reduce risk when they have created so much value. Also FEVR - and all 4 are now significantly higher...although the price does often visit the placing price or thereabouts before the rise.

Probably inevitable that they would diversify their wealth at some point, in fact i think someone on this board called it a few days ago. Can't blame the guys, in fact good luck to them, they've created a lot of value.

Should be good for the share price that the secondary placing is out of the way i would think.

I have bought a few, have watched for a while and now dipped my toe in. Director buying a material amount at £13+ gives me some confidence.

Big cash grab time, PC is now on Steam sale, and within the top 10 of all sellers, better than last time according to hxxp://tools.garry.tv/steamchart/?range=180&show=493340
They'll get many of the £10 discounts back with the Spooky Pack the next week, clever.
When price and sales level revert on 26th, they are still making more money than previously with that DLC, and more of those to come at a steady pace I expect, as the engagement hours per player remains high.

Looks like a sensible move - Tencent will now be that much more involved.

Liberum today retain their Buy and 1250p target.
