20/9/2017 17:36 | Given the book closes at 6pm today, i think we can assume it's fully subscribed. Expect an announcement to that effect tomorrow i would think. The thing with these placings is that it's not like us pi's get to take part so i've learnt to pretty much ignore them tbh. If you don't trust management don't invest. ATB | makw61
20/9/2017 17:35 | i hope you are worrying about nothing there - the non exec who bought would not have been told about the placing and the close period was at an end because results had been released. Also the price they paid is significantly above the placing price so it hardly looks suspicious! | nimbo1
20/9/2017 17:33 | How do you account for a director buying at 1350 when they knew about the placing - shareprophets will be all over this | panic investor
20/9/2017 17:32 | My purchase could have been timed better but in the end it means over £30m of new money buying shares in the company. It is a vote of confidence, that cannot be denied. | mad foetus
20/9/2017 17:31 | Yes, that was a good call, nimbo. I agree we may revisit 920 in the very short term, but my experience is the same as yours in that the market will have been very much expecting this and, once the news has been digested, it will set the scene for the price to move upwards again, with some new ii's on board. I'm a lth so i guess my time frames are different to some; for me it's all just noise at the moment until we see some concrete data for JWE which will be the level of pre-orders in i would guess May 2018? I'm happy to wait 8 months. I think it does explain the recent price volatility. The thing to remember is that the ii's have stumped up 76% more than tencent did less than two months ago. 20/9/2017 17:30 | Probably not the fault of FDEV for the way its been handles as its the job of the brokers to run these processes? But hey WDIK, nothing surprises me on the markets these days. | nimbo1
20/9/2017 17:23 | Just hope they placed them all. Not a very professional way to handle it to be honest. | little minx
20/9/2017 17:21 | The whole markets corrupt - wait till we reach the tipping point - you won't be able to sell a bean ! | panic investor
20/9/2017 17:21 | Living up to your name there panic investor Priced in now | brahmsnliszt
20/9/2017 17:18 | Should put a nice floor under the price, particularly if it is significantly over subscribed. May dip 3% or so tomorrow morning. Better that than a constant drift down. Not too bad! | martinthebrave
20/9/2017 17:18 | dunno why it wasn't announced at 7am - I've often seen them mid morning. | nimbo1
20/9/2017 17:14 | Your a great investor but why didn't the company announce this at 7am - lost all confidence now - the 1350 purchase was a scam | panic investor
20/9/2017 16:57 | yep, i asked a few days ago if it were likely directors would sell some. It's what I would do if i were them! Ive seen it on IQE, PRISM and now FDEV. Perfectly reasonable to reduce risk when they have created so much value. Also FEVR - and all 4 are now significantly higher...although the price does often visit the placing price or thereabouts before the rise. Frontier Developments plc ("Frontier" or the "Company") Proposed secondary placing of 3,850,748 Ordinary Shares in Frontier Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV), today announces that it has been notified by certain Directors of the Company (the "Selling Shareholders"), of their intention to sell 3,850,748 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the Company ("Placing Shares") at a price of 920 pence per Placing Share (the "Placing").... | nimbo1
20/9/2017 16:56 | Probably inevitable that they would diversify their wealth at some point, in fact i think someone on this board called it a few days ago. Can't blame the guys, in fact good luck to them, they've created a lot of value. Should be good for the share price that the secondary placing is out of the way i would think. GLA | makw61
20/9/2017 16:47 | Now we know the reason for the drop. I said at the time it was not just the usual volatility... | allstar4eva
20/9/2017 10:53 | thanks will take a look at the presentation. MF hope its a good purchase for you. | nimbo1
20/9/2017 10:34 | The FY17 results presentation has been uploaded to the Frontier website. Worth a read. GLA | makw61
20/9/2017 09:39 | I have bought a few, have watched for a while and now dipped my toe in. Director buying a material amount at £13+ gives me some confidence. | mad foetus
20/9/2017 03:52 | Big cash grab time, PC is now on Steam sale, and within the top 10 of all sellers, better than last time according to hxxp://tools.garry.t They'll get many of the £10 discounts back with the Spooky Pack the next week, clever. When price and sales level revert on 26th, they are still making more money than previously with that DLC, and more of those to come at a steady pace I expect, as the engagement hours per player remains high. | m4ybe
19/9/2017 13:48 | PC paid for DLC (downloaded content) on sale from 25th getting a fairly good reaction in the comment section. | m4ybe
19/9/2017 11:31 | The 38% Fib retrace found the low yesterday imo. | chester
19/9/2017 10:48 | Looks like a sensible move - Tencent will now be that much more involved. Liberum today retain their Buy and 1250p target. | rivaldo |
