Looks like the book building has just gone up on trades. Now let's see who purchased them.

That's because the "news" was a few days ago, and the sky did fall in. Or at least the price returned to where it had been 3 weeks before, to be less melodramatic. We just found out about the "news" last night.

Nice to see the overnight news hasn't caused the sky to fall in, in fact quite the opposite.

I'm excited to see who purchased. I hope Old Mutual bought some as they always seem to like these type of growth companies. Perhaps Tencent snaffled a few too.

Yes, 10% of the company's shares were in the placement, so we should get some holding announcements shortly.

Ignoring everything else, don't we now have from a charting view a classic break out from a flag?

Congrats to DB and the team. They've achieved great things already, and hopefully there's exponential growth still to come from JP3 and the other releases in the pipeline.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Tencent as at least one of the buyers but lets wait and see when the holdings RNS's are out..

Good feedback again on the PC DLC live stream last night, they generally think FDEV deserves the money and it's worth getting.

Still looks ok to me, ASC ten bagged in 2003, then dropped 50% then put on +50% a year for years to hundred bag again. If this slows us to a longer term trend could work quite nicely.

Yes apparently a big difference in short term result between find your own buyer (Tencent) and have the City find buyers for you!

Nasty sell off and some dodgy stuff went on (not with the company) but all priced in now and should be positive from here as I initially thought.

Good, now we know there's huge demand for the shares at 920p, and no other major director sells for a year.I suppose we already knew that as the shares stopped plunging around there.

Answers on a postcard, please:

Yesterday's ann. states that David Walsh & Jonathan Watt plan to sell 3.8m shares. Current AR shows their combined holding as around 1.9m. Add on 400k exercised options and that appears to leave 1.5m share shortfall ...

Completely understandable that the directors want to cash in a small portion of their holdings - they're still massively invested in the company and have a huge incentive to drive company performance. And also, why shouldn't they have the opportunity to reap some of the rewards of the value which they've created?

re Charles Cotton's wife buying at 1350p, I cant see why anyone would have an issue with this, apart from Mrs Cotton. She's lost a few quid but there aren't any integrity issues - quite the opposite!

Yep no issues at all with the directors cashing in a few chips - they more than deserve it. Just pointed out that the price action was not your usual volatility - posters were saying it was normal price action which it clearly was not.

I'm struggling to see how this is in any way unusual? Nor the consternation about the difference between an announcement after hours or before the open, which are functionally identical. Also forget the fiction about building a book. The word obviously went around, leading to the price drop. The level has thus already been selected and agreed with the participating parties. The price action at the close is also encouraging.

nimbo1 - exactly, and it's difficult to think of it working any other way. Nicely underpins the price IMO.

Anyone else who has been here for a few years will also recall the previous secondary placing when David Branden sold shares. I certainly didn't have a problem then and don't now.Hence I'm still here having enjoyed a spectacular ride and have no intention of getting off!
