11/10/2018 08:59 | Have noticed that RRS, HOC and CEY are blue, FRES still in bed. | kyoquot
11/10/2018 08:46 | ham, thanks for that. Actually my post was in response to bookbroker's. | eriktherock
11/10/2018 08:42 | Erik. Shorts are great when you are the right side of the market trend. But there comes a point when you have earnt a nice pot of cash and the market starts to turn, as they inevitably do. So what do you do, try and continue to wring out the last few pennies of your short or buy back in and realise your profit? What do I know? | hamhamham1
11/10/2018 08:08 | I say 1000p by mid November. Time will tell. | hamhamham1
11/10/2018 08:06 | The stock is traded by traders whether they own it or not. If the majority believe it's a short, they'll sell it. | eriktherock
11/10/2018 08:06 | Will someone tell the traders that Fresnillo nearly produce as much gold as Rangold! :) | hamhamham1
10/10/2018 14:44 | Charts just do not apply here, you are talking about a small free float, and the relationship between the peso, dollar and precious metals premium, or lack off. The Penoles family should really take this private, and cease being beholden to the vagaries of all the market ebbs and flows. | bookbroker
10/10/2018 13:28 | This is one of the more intelligent threads. I am setting up a whats app group for like minded traders - feel free to join us. 07717798636 | hussyo
10/10/2018 13:24 | I am something of an agnostic to sceptic re the charts, but to be fair, eric simply answered the question. I get the logic, have heard it detailed similarly elsewhere (it didn't happen...) and if enough 'traders' engage with it, it will come to pass. In theory. And am grateful for the response. I wonder what difference a very low free float (75% held by Penoles) makes to the TA theory. But I don't wonder that much - as per previous posts I rate the chances of staying (not going) at this level or lower forever more as extremely small. | imastu pidgitaswell
10/10/2018 11:55 | Drawing a few lines on a chart to derive price expectations is a non-starter in itself. ITPM employ an 80% fundamental, 20% technical aspect. The RNSs in the run-up to the Gold/Fres/Rand rally in 2016 are very revealing. | hussyo
10/10/2018 11:35 | It's on all time frames. Foe example, take a look at the full body candle weekly chart. Note the Dec 2016 low @ 1098p, look @ the June 2017 High @ 1727. (1727-1098=629) (1098-629=t469) We could still see the back-test of the Dec 2016 Low, a position I've held until the recent drop below support. | eriktherock
10/10/2018 11:00 | Just do not fathom where you get 470p, far below the levels of 2015, that would be back at 2008/09! | bookbroker
10/10/2018 10:59 | Just do not fathom where you get 470p, far below the levels of 2015, that would be back at 2008/09! | bookbroker
10/10/2018 10:54 | Explain why 470 support, maybe the lows of 2014/15, unless earnings collapse or threat of nationalization, but a takeover would be better by a US corporation, remove some political uncertainty! | bookbroker
10/10/2018 10:34 | Fundamental reasons are produced to support the technical analysis. Without going back over previous posts, as no support levels have held, the ta target is around 470p | eriktherock
10/10/2018 08:34 | Will wait till us open as over the buy button | linton5
09/10/2018 13:50 | Chasing some funds for fres rrs,poly,hoc all up | linton5
09/10/2018 09:59 | Gym. Good price IMO. Time will tell. But I refuse to believe that these shares will not spike at some point. It's just knowing when, and at what point you think is a good entry price, I guess. As Bogart said in Casablanca ... "Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon.." | hamhamham1
09/10/2018 09:31 | Nibbled another 600 @ 781.96p | gymratt
09/10/2018 09:25 | This has got spike written all over it in my view. Again, let's see. | hamhamham1
09/10/2018 09:14 | Once Salvini opens his mouth in a few mins, I think a percent or two up from here by later in the day. Let's see. | hamhamham1
09/10/2018 08:48 | Take a look at the charts on all time-frames. | eriktherock |
