28/9/2018 08:47 | Ready to average up or average down!! :@) | gymratt
28/9/2018 08:46 | Good stratagy, Ken. Just started nibbling away on these..looking at the chart a possible 100% return within two years(?). Aimmhooc. | gymratt
27/9/2018 16:49 | Nice little drop today so topped up at 807 if this keeps going down I will just add and sit on this. It will be well worth it when gold and silver get back to the prices they were 6 months ago, and if you don't need the cash what a bargain. | ken tennis
27/9/2018 16:30 | P - sounds like a plan. Might do the same (even though I bought some already at 775-odd with my carpet-bombing approach). I didn't know Macbeth was Welsh? | imastu pidgitaswell
27/9/2018 15:05 | Peny - can you be sure that Monkey is 'one of us'. Could the Russians have got to him too? | ladywormer
27/9/2018 14:55 | Afternoon all. The monkey has indicated that "they" might well be seeking to close that gap created on the 18th September 2018. This means we might have to revisit 787. If this comes to pass, I shall probably buy a few more, just to average down. At that point, it'll become personal between me, the monkey and Crispin. To coin a phrase attributed to Macbeth - "And damned be him that first cries, “Hold, enough!” Trade well and prosper........ | penycae
27/9/2018 08:34 | Ham... There is another stat that's worth bearing in mind.. if you look at the CTFC figures, Gold futures have never been in such a negative position, which for a contrarian trader screams buy. Point two, many analysists at the end of 2017 saw an average silver price of 17.8 bucks for 2017, and we've had nothing close to that, so the fall in Fres is understandable. I also thought Powell was quite neutral last night, so I fully expect precious metals to rally in the final quarter. | hussyo
27/9/2018 07:42 | Am sure you guys seen this: | hamhamham1
26/9/2018 20:25 | phew, pleased i sold these yesterday! | excellance
26/9/2018 10:39 | Thanks hussy, Not sure why silver is holding-up though if you are correct. Just have to see what 7.0pm brings. I hope you prosper. | eriktherock
26/9/2018 10:32 | erik... it's because there are rumours, mostly from a note put out by GS, that the Fed might get super hawkish on rates and that they may announce tonight 4 hikes in 2019. That would likely kill a Fres spike, though I'm not sure the data suggests such hawkishness. | hussyo
26/9/2018 08:21 | AS for FRES. Well why the share price is travelling in the oposite direction of the pos is a strange one but maybe should be taken as a buying opportunity. Skin in the game. EDIT: Hourly chart pointing towards 819p | eriktherock
26/9/2018 07:34 | ham, agree. JPM wouldn't need to sell any of their physical silver, just progressively unwind their short position an let their real asset appreciate as the pos rises. It's has been and will be the perfect trade for JPM. Gold star to them. | eriktherock
26/9/2018 07:16 | Is my thinking right here: - JP Morgan inherited a huge amount of paper shorts in silver from the Bear Stearns takeover. - JPM have subsequently built up a huge amount of physical silver. - The physical silver could be dropped into the market to keep down the price if it starts rising. - This would give time for JPM to unwind, in a controlled manor, all their inherited shorts? - Then silver allowed to go up again. - But I guess this only works in stable markets, if like after the brexit vote, demand shoots up, then the demand is too powerful to keep the price down? | hamhamham1
25/9/2018 16:18 | WE all know that the market is usually right but I believe it's missing something here with the worlds largest primary silver producer with the second lowest production costs with spot up over 2%. We'll see if gap-up in the morning. EDIT: It is 'slap-down Tuesday' of course. | eriktherock
25/9/2018 15:58 | A doveish hike will send precious metals off | hussyo
25/9/2018 15:20 | Fomc meeting results regarding us interest rates | linton5
25/9/2018 15:15 | Flying isn't it? Unlike the FRES share price. What's significant about tomorrow? | imastu pidgitaswell
25/9/2018 15:10 | SP anticipating 'slap-down Tuesday' with spot up 1.6% | eriktherock
25/9/2018 13:07 | Find out tmmw chaps for sure | linton5
25/9/2018 12:30 | It's not liking 865-70. Brief support earlier in the month, now resistance. They just need to think of how much they dislike Odey and want to hurt him. With a name like Crispin and that surname (he was undoubtedly named 'Odious' at his presumably public school) I imagine the man has issues... ;-) | imastu pidgitaswell
25/9/2018 11:42 | Bought in today as some insurance of upcoming events. Time will tell. | hamhamham1 |
