08/10/2018 21:15 | As I said good rise in USA tonight so should be a blue day tmmw 🤪 | linton5
08/10/2018 18:26 | For the so called biggest silver miner it dosnt react aswell as the us and tsx miners there charts look much better, strange that | linton5
08/10/2018 17:07 | 778 close, down over 2% and looking very fragile! | excellance
08/10/2018 16:30 | Filled my boots this afternoon with 2880 bought in tranches, good long-term buy. | davidspringbank
08/10/2018 16:23 | I think it's safe to say that gap has been filled... Low volume, low share price, but silver plunged as well. 17th time lucky, maybe? But not yet. | imastu pidgitaswell
08/10/2018 09:10 | I see the PBOC (Peoples Bank of China) has reduced the capital levels banks have to hold (again). Just to pay the gov some tax I hear? They are also using such words as 'prudent' in their statement - very Gordon Brown. ..... That worked out well last time, right? | hamhamham1
08/10/2018 08:18 | The thing is with an insurance policy, it looks a waste of money, until the point that it isn't. ;) | hamhamham1
07/10/2018 13:05 | Huss. Don't forget as well as the extreme brexiteers there will be also any staunch remainers from any party will see this vote as a last attempt to stay fully in the EU. | hamhamham1
06/10/2018 20:22 | Labour has shifted position recently in order to try and force a GE, meaning their tacit policy is to vote down ANY bill put before Parliament. On top of that, there are probably enough anti-any-deal Tories who, joining Labour, will vote against the Government and bring it down. We'll see a GE this year. How will that affect Fres? Possibly in different ways to your average FTSE company. | hussyo
06/10/2018 19:25 | I am going to put my views on record here. Any deal coming back from the EU to present to the UK parliament will get rejected. If I am wrong, I will happily disappear into the ether. Let's see come end of November. | hamhamham1
05/10/2018 20:22 | I got in at 7.94, for an average of 8.6, very heavy part of my portfolio | hussyo
05/10/2018 15:32 | Brucie - I'm not, hence keeping some funds back, just in case, and will buy yet more if it does. Because when you say 'bottomed' - no I am not sure it will not go lower (but I do think it unlikely). But if the question is 'will this be higher than its current price at some point in the future' - my view is yes, considerably, more than double - for old fashioned reasons such as cost of extraction, project pipeline, reserves, financial position etc. And with paper, am happy to wait and take the dividends if I need to. P - I assume he is getting through a few dartboards and slowing down a bit - we have been at this for a long time? | imastu pidgitaswell
05/10/2018 15:15 | Afternoon all. You know, you've got to hand it to that monkey. All those years at Goldman Sucks clearly taught him a thing or two. This should be OK from here, all the algos are now kicking in. Trade well and prosper...... | penycae
05/10/2018 14:44 | Down to touch the recentish previous daily close of 785p. I have noticed sometimes when things bottom out they revisit the previous low for a second time before moving up. Here's hoping :) | hamhamham1
05/10/2018 14:41 | Blimey! That dip was bought up quickly..what a bargain(IMMHO!). | gymratt
05/10/2018 14:33 | Imastu. Yep, Fresnillo went up by 20-30% on the day of the referendum result. And more than doubled over the period. It shows that this share is affected by Brexit. Safety i guess. | hamhamham1
05/10/2018 14:26 | Why so confident that it's bottomed? Last drop was to 6/700. Genuine question. | brucie5
05/10/2018 14:20 | Naw. Maybe one day, but am adopting the 'carpet-bombing' approach to building a position here, so need the funds in case we see yet lower. | imastu pidgitaswell
05/10/2018 14:17 | Imastu, have you looked at GPM for more geographical spread? | brucie5
05/10/2018 13:45 | Not at all. But for a Mexican mining company, whose operations are in Mexico and which is quoted on the LSE, the relevance is, er? Which is one of the reasons I am in here (again) - purchase triggered. If anything, a run on the pound would be good for the share price here... | imastu pidgitaswell
05/10/2018 13:37 | hamhamham1 I am just amazed at the optimism that a deal will be forward by the EU that will be accepted by the UK and taken back to parliament to vote on. Is it just me? -------------------- No. | brucie5
05/10/2018 12:55 | I am just amazed at the optimism that a deal will be forward by the EU that will be accepted by the UK and taken back to parliament to vote on. Is it just me? | hamhamham1
05/10/2018 12:53 | Added 500 @ 793p. Powder still dry! :@) | gymratt
05/10/2018 11:25 | Penycae 27 Sep '18 - 14:55 - 5124 of 5153 Afternoon all. The monkey has indicated that "they" might well be seeking to close that gap created on the 18th September 2018. This means we might have to revisit 787. If this comes to pass, I shall probably buy a few more, just to average down. At that point, it'll become personal between me, the monkey and Crispin. Quite the sage. Perhaps... I'm about to add, all getting a bit silly now. | imastu pidgitaswell |
