22/3/2018 10:08 | Toonmag , Not sure what your issue is ?I,m down 44 k today .if you are following my posts and followed me in triad two years ago at 22p to 75p , the zoo 9p jan to April last year when foresight were dumping stock at 9 p I was loading. And Pmo , although still to perform , you would have a return of 1000 percent . Just read the triad bulletin boards and zoo when they were 22 p and 9 p .I post to offer others my views . Same as net and others who believe in what they invest in .Problem we all have is patients !I have been fortunate , does always work .D y o r and check what others post .Sicknote | s34icknote
22/3/2018 10:00 | Very annoyed they haven't disclosed the offer price | barvin
22/3/2018 10:00 | Never fails to disappoint this one. | kemche
22/3/2018 09:49 | Not for me. A 50p offer while undervaluing the company is still well over the 35p we were and now are trading at again. At the least the offer should be made public so all can see what Stobart valued flyb at! | bantam175
22/3/2018 09:40 | Agreed Anon I'm with you, well done management for kicking out a suspected low ball offer. | wanttowin
22/3/2018 09:30 | Not worth giving it away at say 45 to 50p.Happy Flybe rejected the bid at such low level.Stobart just trying their luck. They will wish they had bought when they look back in 1 or 2 yrs when the share price will be a quid+. | anony mous
22/3/2018 09:26 | Airlines are high risk Black Rock made a load today. Please do your own research. | qantas
22/3/2018 09:21 | Disappointing not to know what the offer was .Sicknote. | s34icknote
22/3/2018 09:19 | Managed to buy 52000 in three trades on triad this morning .Reduced slightly here this morning but still holding 240000.That's twice this year bummed out on Pmo and Flybe , both rising and falling back steeply in a short space of time .Should have stuck with zoo but sold out at 68p !As you say net , back to where I was before Xmas .One thing I've learnt over the last two years is that director buys and ii buying and selling means nowt .Do your own research and believe in your investments .Sicknote N a i | s34icknote
22/3/2018 09:14 | If the price offered was 60p or over, the management here need to answer; was it all cash or a combo (cash/shares)? If it was a combo, Stob paper is good and would likely have benefitted from realisation of synergies of the two entities combined - a well placed growth vehicle going forwards, an airline and logistics business ala DTG. If it was cash, what realistic chance is there for FLYB paper to weather any future storms and achieve proposed offer prices in next 12-18months? Some serious questions need to be answered here. 22/3/2018 09:07 | A lot of stock sold at 35p , think that might be the rush for the door over . Expecting the bargain hunters to nibble on any more weakness Small buying will push this up , think this will eventually settle around 38p.Sicknote N a i | s34icknote
22/3/2018 09:07 | s34icknote: a carpet bagger is someone who buys carpets(a guess). Have you seen Triad up on NO NEWS today. Suddenly its in vogue. If he means someone who likes bargains (cheap carpets) - then dont we all? | netcurtains
22/3/2018 09:04 | Forgive my ignorance , what's a carpet bagger ? | s34icknote
22/3/2018 08:50 | Oh Well, I'm no worse off then I was a month ago! At least I did not buy any more! Phew! Back to the drawing board. Lets hope RESULTS are good - they will have to drive the price up going forward. | netcurtains
22/3/2018 08:50 | Well from now there are three scenarios: 1. Flybe goes bust 2. It improves performance and starts to add value 3. It gets bought Likelihood of 1: 0.1 Likelihood of 2: 0.6 Likelihood of 1: 0.3 Value of 1: 0p Value of 2: 50p Value of 3: 75p Expected value = 52.5p If it takes three years then that implies a return of about 18% on a price of 32.5p If you assume that the big six have been buying at 40p then that's still a 9% return. Maybe that's the argument put by the Flybe board? | toffeeman
22/3/2018 08:45 | Hoskins buying 100 k lolSicknote | s34icknote
22/3/2018 08:38 | I was casting my eye over this recently when the bid story emerged but not anymore, risk/reward not great but GL if you think another bidder will surface, just not for me. | ny boy
22/3/2018 08:33 | I guess the board are just hoping that a hostile bid could come now that they know Stobart are not willing to pay over the odds for a business that still has a lot to do to turn its fortunes around. Maybe nobody will want to play that game. | clocktower
22/3/2018 08:28 | Not sure I understand - So Stobart put the terms to the Flybe board and terms were rejected. That means Stobart were going for an agreed bid. The board speaks for a (very small) minority of the shares and so must have convinced the big six that things would get better than the bid price and not to sell. Presumably a hostile bid could come? | toffeeman
