25/6/2018 14:35 | CFO buys 100k shares. About time. Hopefully will be seen positively. | jerseyman1
22/6/2018 14:37 | Secondary period leases on 5 existing Q400 makes sense. Probably saves £2m pa and doesn't tie up cash in deposits for new. Maintenance cost may be higher though.....May be the CEO adopting her prior employers tactics, as seen at Air France and until quite recently CityJet where older aircraft were/are the norm. | jerseyman1
22/6/2018 11:43 | Getting closer | europa79
21/6/2018 14:29 | from previous conversations on this thread, it begins to look like a breakout "if" we get above 42p (at close). So far we're a long way off that . - need a 5%+ rise ... (3-4% currently) | netcurtains
21/6/2018 13:48 | Still looking good today. Well done everyone for holding on! | netcurtains
20/6/2018 15:22 | Its not only that, people are buying because all the bad news is now out... Now its all about a real recovery play | netcurtains
20/6/2018 15:17 | now right for take out by IAG, Emirates or similar | phillis
20/6/2018 13:01 | looking good! | netcurtains
20/6/2018 11:29 | You get a lot of airline at 39p Load factor has increased to 75% Overcapacity has always been the problem Airline seat prices going up since demise of Monarch last year... ? cyclical turn for seat capacity growth Also new CEO going for a demand led business model from previously chasing capacity model... so cutting costs; higher seat yield and filling planes. Well into this new model with planes handed back | muffinhead
20/6/2018 10:45 | Toffee..No guarantee placing it elsewhere will create a profit. Don't need the money so why sell at a loss? Waiting for 60p to exit, don't know when that will be but confident it will come. Cheers | wanttowin
20/6/2018 10:40 | wanttowin The argument goes: The share price is unlikely to do much for the foreseeable so your capital is better placed elsewhere so that you generate a return. | toffeeman
20/6/2018 10:09 | After reading the detail in yesterdays results I am still prepared to hold,I feel the news is rather positive for the future. True the share price is not going to rocket, but been here a long time and despite being underwater I see no reason to sell out. | wanttowin
19/6/2018 15:46 | tory inspired ? lol you got your head in the sand pal ? labour as divided , if not more. | rackers1
19/6/2018 15:34 | Mr Corbyn and This is Money.. Bet your life FlyBe will go into orbit if the alliance of non-tory parties got in and got the nation out of the tory inspired brexit pickle. OFF TOPIC.... (Sorry - who really cares - share not going anywhere fast anyway) | netcurtains
19/6/2018 13:52 | a dead cat can bounce higher than corbyn in the opinion polls. But thats not saying much | rackers1
19/6/2018 13:19 | a dead cat can actually bounce higher than a live one - it depends on circumstances. | netcurtains
19/6/2018 13:12 | as a friend of mine is oft-quoted as saying : "Even a dead cat will bounce" | mill5ey
19/6/2018 09:03 | Usual statement.Very few positives but overall nothing to drive the company further.Reducing my holding and i will be out within days.Far better opps elsewhere.Shame really cos i been here about 5 yrs.Good luck if you hold. | anony mous
19/6/2018 08:46 | TBH the current seat utilisation is awful compared to EZJ and RYA | toffeeman
19/6/2018 08:09 | The results for the reported year have been enhanced by rewritng the previous year to account for the major depreciations and write-offs. Is this reasonable? Well, at least the figures are all in the open and I will admit that it gives a clearer picture of the current situation and the improving forward outlook. The most encouraging points are the increased seat utilisation and revenue factors, still with room for further progress in this regard. Commercial aviation is blessed with a complex mix of variables which can blow any strategy off course but the management team now seem to have a coherent and potentially profitable strategy. | boadicea
19/6/2018 08:06 | I think a bit further out than tomorrow. Not even the prospect of the bid let it breach the 50p resistance and so I can't see the case for holding at present. | toffeeman
19/6/2018 08:02 | jam tomorrow anyone? | nakedsteve
19/6/2018 07:49 | On reading it I was left with the feeling that overall things are moving slowly ahead and that she seems to have a grasp of the job in hand. Keep holding I reckon. | fozzie
19/6/2018 07:45 | Decks well and truly hosed down | phillis |
