With that wide spread looks like mms short of stock.Trading must be ahead of expectations inside or someone sniffing to buy flybe again.

Ah right I see it now on the ADVFN news - strangely it is not in the list of RNS against either FLYB or Hosking on investegate!

it seems the c6m shares that they don't have voting rights over had to be declared in the 8.3 form under the takeover code rules but not under normal holding declaration rules.

I suspect that maybe one of the owners of Hosking Partners owns the shares in a personal capacity. They wouldn't need to declare normally since it is less than 3% but under takeover code rules they are probably regarded as acting in concert so would need to be in the 8.3 declaration.

So Hosking has been adding. We don't know if the other party in concert still has their 6m shares but I would guess that if Hosking is adding they still would.

...so are we saying the dip in price was in some part due to Hoskins selling and now the rise in price is in some part due to Hoskins buying again?

With all the other infomation people have on Hoskins do we know why they are buying again?

on march 21st they announced 18.44%, although this incluced nearly 6m they didnt have voting descretion over, even if you take this off the 18.44 it does get you to the 15.05% they said they started with in the latest RNS

odd, the last Hoskins holdings i could find had them at 18% and now we see they have gone from 15 to 16%...if this is the case they sold 3% and didnt notify. i must be missing someting..

1st key level is 41p - needs to go from resistance to support.
2nd key level is 44p.
3rd and most important level is 50p.

If there are no more nasty surprises in the results then I would expect 40p to become the floor. If the strategy is solid and improvements flow through to the bottom line then I can see a gradual move up to 50p.

Any sudden movement would indicate revisiting the bid.

UT @41 so strictly speaking we have closed at the key level - so let's watch out next week for a close above and then see if 41 goes from resistance to support.
