I have been following DraftKings on equivalent of above (I’m not an investor in DK but some comments provide useful insight).

Gents, not sure where to spend time on chats anymore here, given the move to NYSE. is thee a better chat place for US stocks that this is now considered.? Have enjoyed 11 years here, yet everything has its time?

Indeed. They just bought the lottery business and after that it's the worst time to get bad news. Similar thing is happening to Betsson when they purchased business in Netherlands and now government wants to regulate heavily.

Similar to Flutter, DraftKings may not be losing much cash. Share-based compensation is non-cash and same with amortization of intangibles. Half of their yearly loss has been share-based compensation.
But like I've said, DraftKings went into netdebt after JackPocket purchase, so they should be more under scrutiny now.

I bought halfway into the dip. Perfect inefficient market situation. When American institutions hit the buy-button, we might see some big up-days. Remember that the stock is trading a lot below target price.
I'm still bullish even after the tax hikes.
It sucks that the CFO left, he was very well spoken man. Family goes first of course.

NY has just passed through the $2bn mark in state taxes raised from OSB, during the period 8.1.22-26.5.24.

This tax hike has done more damage to DK than FD, and put their cash position and balance sheet under the microscope. They're still losing money and FD remain entrenched as the clear market leader.

Hi Pughman, could this have been a combination of CFO leaving (unexpected leading to brief fears it meant an accountancy issue)plus forced selling from FTSE100 Index? The serious fall was a very short period.

as I wrote earlier, many dont want to invest in primary NYSE companies that are not located in USA. we will then judge jackson by his results. ireland is great for lower tax rate. the Rest of world is still important to us. this will be forgotten when operational excellence is published as with any other company.

Price action this morning indicated something more than an average CFO leaving. Missed opportunity, ce la vie.

This is crazy… does anyone understand this? This is surely too far after US tax issues to be an aftershock. I guess this is the FTSE 100 exit???
