When the Nov 22 tribunal gave FanDuel a Dec 20 valuation of $20bn, the igaming numbers were not a major consideration for me. Today that's not the case, the igaming revenue for 24 should be $1.8-2.0bn, mainly from 3 states. What is the valuation of just that part of Fanduel today.

Just because NYSE becomes primary doesn’t mean LSE is forgotten. More importantly the multiples for comp stocks are way higher in NYSE primary vs LSE primary listed stocks. To the moon baby !

Here's what I wrote on March 29th

"Biggest ETF holding Flutter is Vanguard FTSE Developed Markets ETF with 0.82% weight and 314m market value. Vanguard has at least 3 other FTSE ETF's that include Flutter with combined 0.64% weight."

Now when we look at Flutter ETF exposure:
Biggest holder is Vanguard Total International Stock ETF with 1.36% weight in Flutter.
Oddly all the before mentioned ETF's still hold same amount of shares. Those being:
Vanguard FTSE Developed Markets ETF, Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US Index Fund,
Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF, Vang FTSE 100 Ptg.Shs GBP.

I should ask Vanguard whether they would be forced to sell Flutter once NYSE primary listing goes live, or whether FTSE is there in name only.

It seems that Vang FTSE 100 Ptg.Shs GBP. is the only one tracking FTSE 100 exclusively.

So you are saying that when the FTSE 100 Index trackers are forced to sell their holdings in Flutter, this will not have a short term affect on the flutter share price? You may be right but it is serious short term possibility in my opinion.

Dropping out of LSE, like many others are doing , won’t have any negative effect specially that NYSE is becoming primary not exclusive listing

I’m sorry Solarman. I’m not at all clear what you are disagreeing with? The move to listing in the US is very positive. Have you misread my note perhaps?

Are you kidding us? Almost 50% of flutter is now in USA. You can invest in draftkings under same name. You can’t with Flutter. Huge difference. With move to NYSENas prime listing it opens up a huge amount of capital access.

I’m not quite so upbeat on the short term prospects. Events such as Kentucky Derby are relatively tiny in the scheme of things and won’t move the dial… Relatively favourable UK football results helps but the real action is American Football /basketball (“march madness”) and DraftKings results have highlighted the hold% has dipped a little. Dropping out of UK Indexes also won’t help although perhaps the market will adjust for that in anticipation of joining S&P500 down the line.

English teams out of the Champions League so all singles and multiples safe for the season.
