Posted at 13/11/2024 11:51 by martinmc123 FLTR – Flutter Entertainment4* Flutter Entertainment posted an excellent set of Q3 numbers after yesterday’s US close, the share price has kicked on 4%+ this morning and is at new record highs. Posted at 29/9/2024 12:13 by rkeck I would infer that the scale of the buyback implies that a dividend payment is very unlikely. As you probably know, US firms (which Flutter effectively is now) tend to prefer Buybacks over paying dividends as a method of returning funds to shareholders. |

Posted at 14/8/2024 14:53 by martinmc123 Flutter Entertainment plc posted a strong set of Q2 results this morning. Revenue was up 20% to $3,611m, statutory net income more than tripled to $297m while adjusted EPS was up 56% to $2.61. US performance accelerated with revenue growth up to 39% driven by FanDuel. Group performance ex US was also solid with revenue growth up 10%. Net income was up to $297m from $64m a year earlier, Group Adjusted EBITDA was up 17% to $738m. Guidance was raised and now implies Group revenue +20% year-over-year and Adjusted EBITDA +34% at the midpoints. Valuation remains something of a headwind with forward PE ratio at 25x and PS ratio at 2.84x both bottom quartile for the sector. The share price also lacks positive momentum for the time being. FLTR is certainly a solid growing business worth monitoring for the longer run, but there is no rush to buy here...from WealthOraclewealthoracle.co.uk/d |
Posted at 06/7/2024 19:38 by lappuliisa I looked at Boyd's annual report today and there's no way they will sell or terminate their strategic FanDuel partnership. They get revenue share from online betting and they offer retail Fanduel sportsbook in their casinos. If you google "fanduel retail" you will see the kiosks.FanDuel partnership is one of their fastest growing revenue streams and also the best partner to have from the sportsbooks. Boyd looks like a good company to add. P/E 10, quarterly dividend and share buyback program ongoing. Good upside. |

You can filter/block him, as most I imagine have already done.Back to flutter. Aug 13th is right around the corner. We should start seeing the share price bake-in the results before the announcement. Estimates for Q2'24 for the different currencies are: FLUT(NYSE) Earnings(1.54) Revenue (3.37B) FLTR(LSE) Earnings(1.22) Revenue (2.67B) |
