This is the new news llama.

"Given this progress, we will be investing further in the brand over the course of 2020. The Group has already conducted a number of successful trials with key customers, providing both parties with compelling evidence of our ability to unlock the wider potential of this very significant market over the medium and longer term. However, implementing these initiatives is expected to result in a one-off impact on net revenue growth in 2020 and as a result, we are revising our growth forecasts for the US business to low double digit for the year ahead before returning to previously expected growth rates thereafter."

Caused this:
FEVR Jan Broker Forecasts down to £15 from £23.

Was ANYONE expecting big growth in the U.K??? This is an overreaction. They will continue to grow to strong positions in most markets they are in. The U.K. will be flattish. Other markets will grow. Keep calm and carry on...

Part of the problem is that while growth is good, people jump on and you get momentum and the price goes higher and higher, with growth shares, it's often a matter of when the growth slows they justify a lower p/e premium. Now is growth slowing or is this a blip ? who knows, certainly until now it's all beem positive, you can understand those who got in much lower taking profits and moving on to the next thing, I have no position but have been looking from the side lines, I was tempted when it when under 20, but after the not so great results it fell back. If I held, I am not sure I would sell, but from the outside, their doesn't seem to be any urgency to get in either. sometimes these things can overshoot, but to be honest, what is a ex growth/ modest growth valuation for fever ? and if we're not significantly below that, what's the point of getting in ? only if you believe that growth will return soon. It's a good product, very expensive, but then if you're drinking premium gin, or vodka, and there currently seem to be a large number of specialist bars, a bit more on the tonic isn't that significant if you're paying a lot for the spirit

The slow down has been coming for 6 months plus.
I tried to explain that sales were slow/..........since Xmas they have stopped!
IN MY OPINION its getting slower..........so beware.

High P/E stocks are fine till growth stops. Then 10x is a fair deal.

Take a look at MPAC up at 305p today and its eps is 37p plus. 7x earnings and no debt .

This looks expensive even at £10. Might be worth an investment at £8 if growth picks up. One to keep an eye on.

Yeah fair enough. I feel a correction brewing. On Monday I pulled all my growth portfolio stocks and went full on eggs in one basket on L&G SUK2. Foolhardy undoubtedly but it built a 4pc buffer over the week so stop in now at break even and wiping the sweat off my forehead!
