that makes no sense hamham and Crimea is an example of that . he can claim any territory is part of Russia but it does not make it so . he could have said all the recaptured towns were part of Russia and now look what has happened . Might is right for Putin but the MIGHT is with Ukraine at present as long as it is armed by the west which is on some

Where's lodgeview?
He's all in here. Yikes.
The irony that he trapes across other boards here saying "it's over for xxx company" is quite amusing and a tad ironic.

Good insight I traded this on the news of Ukr battlefield success and likewise think that the war will be won, with Russia as best keeping a toe hold or two

Looks like they are fairly confident and this is a legacy issue shut down in 2015.....There is no materiality mentioned.

Hi Officer Digby!
As far as I'm concerned the war is as good as won - that's why I invested here.
It's worth restating that the original legal claim dates back to 2002. Things are different now - much better - in Ukraine. But back then, almost anything went in business (I know, I was there, I could tell you stories). It would be naive to assume that Zhevago / FXPO are necessarily in the right in this case and the claimants are in the wrong.
Also, there is a poster on LSE who is claiming that Ukrainian courts don't have jurisdiction over the case. Er?!? The assets in dispute are in Ukraine. Of course what the Ukrainian courts rule is decisive over the assets in question.
IMO, FXPO have been doing a lot right in the last few years. But this dispute dates back 20 years to the original sin of its founding. I thought we were past that, and it was forgotten, but it seems we aren't.

next support level is about 130 and then 120 although charts have less relevance in this special situation . Market hates uncertainty I guess .

Totally agree. Me too. Luckily smallish loss. Legal plays are a nightmare and its best to sit on sidlines till this is resolved.
