I think this will come up good from these levels, wouldn’t be surprised to see 350p today. The stupid thing about how this was priced is the fact the EPS should be around the same or maybe even better, so the dividends should be about the same levels.

Today is like an ex dividend day so that is why it has fallen. Probably part was the Russian saga as well.

Why not read Company announcements to check the facts?

The ex date for the demerger was today as shown in this update from Evraz:-



So far from being down today, the Evraz share price is actually UP about 63p/25%. Not bad on a down day!

Wouldn’t surprise me if the merger date is tomorrow seen the dates but price action today doesn’t make sense! will see what tomorrow brings

Indeed gaffer, I bought a few EVRAS last week at 4.14, by my calculations I'm up about 19% based on current pricing of RASP and EVRAS today.

I am new to looking at this stock, and I have no position in it; but I find comparing the 1D & 5D charts (just on Google) very confusing. 444.70 GBX is marked as the closing price on Fri 11/02, and yet there is no indication of that closing price on the 5D chart.

Spot on gaffer. RASP price (albeit v small float) trades at 445 RUB in Moscow. /104.6 (exchange rate)=425p. *.4255 (RASP share dividend proportion per every Evra share)=180p. So stock is effectively UP 48p today. Not bad for a Russian name what with all the fuss.

I’m looking forward to the Annual results on I think the 25th Feb, will be interesting how the divvy pans out, with fewer shares in EVR after the Demerger who knows the EPS might even increase paying out more hence a higher yield.

I managed to get some with HFx at 290p
