18/1/2022 05:52 | Not paying the correct Dividend amount Tax and dividends Today 13:50 Dear Sir,Not only was the EVR dividend paid late, but ii did not pay the full amount.Which was 14.84p.EVR had already converted 20 cents USD to GBP,at 14.84p,but ii have deducted conversation fee,s again. The amount due was £228.53.I was only paid £224.48.Also my 1528 EVR shares in my Trading account 0949676 only received £221.05,when the amount due was £226.75.I am not happy with this situation, because ii is stealing my money. Its the principal, and not about the amount.I have informed other EVR shareholders regarding this thief.I now require the rest of my dividends plus compensation. This is not the first time this as occured with ii.Look at my History.Regards Matthew Cook.Anybody else not receive the correct amount of 14.84p,a share.I got the full amount with HL | garycook

12/1/2022 20:51 | ii and other brokers can't transfer any funds until November because that is the timing given by EVR in the circular. I am hoping for a small upward price movement before selling and then buying back after the Demerger record date using all the proceeds. | scrwal

24/12/2021 11:44 | elpirata I agree that the split etc. will almost certainly be messy especially for a PI. I guess the real smart ones will sell close to the split and then buy back in within the 30 day trading period ref. avoiding CGT. But even then the share price may have fallen back in anticipation. At best I think the price will drift sideways until the deed is done. I just can't see it going up much. Plus sorting out any CGT issues will be a headache! BWTF......etc.! Merry Christmas. | eggbaconandbubble
24/12/2021 08:10 | ditto here elpirata | ianguerin
23/12/2021 12:56 | RASP has risen by 10% since the announcement. Based on yesterdays close the proposed demerger allocation implies a RASP value of £1.90ish per EVR share 615.2p ie 31%. | scrwal
23/12/2021 12:51 | Its been a great performer but I sold my shares on Tuesday a) before x div kicked in b) I dont want to be stuck with a possibly illiquid Moscow list holding thats difficult to monitor & trade out of at the push of a button Will wait until the dust settles post split before buying back in | elpirata
23/12/2021 12:17 | It is difficult to work out the motivation for the share split in February. Don't invest what you are not prepared to lose I guess. Then it won't really matter. A problem if you have been seduced by the high dividend. There are plenty of alternatives. I cannot understand if the share split makes sense from the company's point of view, or if they have been told to do this to F up western investors. It is Russis so anything is possible in that country. | tymedici
16/12/2021 15:38 | You should always have the option to receive the dividend in £s. If you elect for this then it will always apply , the advantage is that you will know what you are going to receive as the conversion rate is fixed at least a week prior to the payment date. I personally take the risk by not electing and hoping the exchange rate moves in my favour giving me a larger sterling dividend. My holding is in an ISA so the dividend is automatically converted to sterling on the payment date , but if you are using a trading account then depending on your broker you may well receive it in dollars which is held in a currency account waiting for you to convert whenever you are inclined to do so. | scrwal
16/12/2021 14:04 | I've just double checked with my broker (Jarvis) The dollars are converted and then paid into my income account. Apparently I have never had to fill out any forms / Currency Elections in this respect and the payments have never been an issue with any company paying in dollars. Suggest you talk to your broker. | eggbaconandbubble
16/12/2021 13:52 | The interim dividend will be paid in US Dollars, unless a shareholder elects to receive dividends in UK pounds sterling or Euros. The last date for submitting a Currency Election will be 29 December 2021. All conversions will take place on or around 31 December 2021.Now yielding 15.58% at 606p. I would be grateful if someone could please advise me how to receive my dividend in sterling Specifically, who do I need to contact re Currency Election I am sure there will be a few others this information would be helpful to... TIA | casket1
16/12/2021 13:19 | The value of RASP shares is approx 28% of current EVR value. I think you will need to sell EVR before 15 Feb to avoid becoming entitled to RASP shares - presume this date will trigger the price drop. | scrwal
15/12/2021 18:59 | Reading the circular highlights a bit of a conundrum. Assuming a UK investor has a broker who doesn't deal on the Russian Stock Exchange then you are forced to use the share sale facility but you will have to wait 6 months before you receive any cash. In the meantime the value of your EVR holding will have fallen because of the demerger. So you are almost forced into selling your holding prior to the demerger and buying back what you want after the price drop. However I am uncertain as to when you should sell the shares - The record time for determining entitlement is 15 Feb and you have to submit your info by 15 Mar with the demerger dividend date of 29 Mar. I would assume that if you don't want the hassle of the RASP shares you don't need to do anything apart from selling prior to 15 Mar and then buy back when the price drops after the demerger dividend. | scrwal
15/12/2021 16:31 | 15 Feb date is actually the entitlement date for RASP shares - 0.4255477880 RASP for each EVR share. Settlement date for the transfer of shares appears to be 7 Apr 2022. | scrwal
15/12/2021 16:04 | Demerger going ahead ,if approved at General Meeting, by 15 Feb 2022. | scrwal |
