The coal company will be only quoted on the Russian stock exchange with some sort of selling mechanism to be set up so that the shares can be sold.

The EVR shares will still be quoted on the FTSE100 after the demerger.

The rns on 15 April gives the detail.

The only thing not to like is the coal demerger as you will have to sell the Russian shares through whatever mechanism is provided. Retaining them may not be a realistic longer term option.

Great results Profit of 1,212M.Debt reduced and the Interim dividend increased by 175% from 20 cents to 55 cents.What is not to like here.12% dividend yield !

Interims tomorrow. Hopefully there will be another 20c interim dividend. Will be interesting if there is any more news on the potential demerger of the coal assets.

The consent solicitation has thrown up the following figures for the demerger after the YUKU transactions

Cash and equivalents pre $1,627m post $2,008m
EBITDA pre $2,212m post $1,830m
Net Debt pre $3,356m post $2,975m

I think a lot of shareholders will be using the mechanism to be put in place to sell the Raspadskaya shares since they will still be quoted on the Moscow exchange.

Very interesting article in Morning Star, however if you look at it from an investing point of view Evraz should definitely be top of the league. Very happy to hold this stock paying excellent dividends and showing good growth in the share price.

Looking very good here.Another dividend so soon,.EVR must be cash rich atm issuing another Interim.Onwards and upwards £7 next target.Also should be another 20c dividend declared in August.

The stock that keeps on giving. Two more announcements today after hours which both state that shareholders can expect to receive some additional bonus distributions.

1) An interim dividend of 20c to be paid in June
2) Demerger of coal arm gathering momentum it seems with further distributions to shareholders anticipated if it proceeds.
