01/8/2024 07:17 | Brexit has caused Brits to queue for longer at immigration. It's not a debate, it is a fact. We made free movement more difficult for ourselves. | trying2trade
01/8/2024 06:41 | The only difference between flights Europe to Europe and Europe to UK on departure from Europe is the customs border. All airports now have a holding pen for British flights. At MIA it's gates 11 onwards and only UK flights go through the customs border into the holding area. Tunisia, Libya and Algeria go from the Schengen area. Flying into Malta British flights all go through the customs passport border regardless of the passport type. When I fly Spain to Malta I step from the aircraft to the baggage hall with no checks. I rarely use my British passport and travel on my ID card from Spain. | sapphireblue1
01/8/2024 06:38 | Wizz Air reports a tiny profit, with e4.8B net debt. Along with 50 of their 208 aircraft grounded for the next year with engine issues (23%). Easyjet have a decent profit, net cash £456m, with a no grounded aircraft, so more than double the capacity of Wizz over the next year. Happy to hold here. Though might be a opportunity to add with the sector taking a hit today from Wizz results. | wallywoo
01/8/2024 06:30 | Tenerife like every Spanish airport are operating at or beyond capacity. Flights are full and airports busy. Do the maths. However 2 and a half hours is nonsense because they would have missed their flight. | sapphireblue1
01/8/2024 00:08 | I can travel on a British or Irish passport. When going to an EU country it's always the Irish passport I use - much easier. | essentialinvestor
31/7/2024 21:20 | I think it's quite clear the person has mixed up security with immigration. No need to lambast them. | trying2trade
31/7/2024 20:34 | How could Brexit affect security? Security isn't driven by nationality, immigration is, that's why there are different queues based on EEU and non EEU,but if you actually want to believe it was, what would you do with that information? | cevodniya
31/7/2024 17:11 | One of my offspring & family have done an EJ hol package to Tenerife. 2 1/2 hours to go through security at Tenerife...is this a result of Brexit!!??? | philmac56
31/7/2024 15:38 | Another disappointing day for shareholders. | sapphireblue1
30/7/2024 11:59 | T2T, excuses ontop of excuses, you would think the credability of some is completely shot, given number of times they are wrong. | noramping
30/7/2024 11:07 | I should think so too. Ridiculous valuation. Zero for the holiday business or zero for the airline. Take your pick | sapphireblue1
30/7/2024 11:05 | JPMorgan raises easyJet price target to 650 (640) pence - 'overweight' | davius
30/7/2024 06:55 | Meanwhile the oil price is sliding which helps margins. | amt
29/7/2024 14:54 | The excuse generator in full force today. | trying2trade
29/7/2024 14:31 | But isn't the point that you wanted to sit next to another person and the window. Seems unlikely that will be available. Why not select a seat that's on all aircraft and never next to an emergency exit. 3A seems a safe option. | sapphireblue1
29/7/2024 14:26 | Sapphire, Well u could be right, EJ are scamming their customers. But I won't book seats in the future, until I check in. A lesson learnt for me, a warning for others! | philmac56
29/7/2024 14:16 | OK so you don't think it's a scam. I wouldn't be very happy to pay more than once for the same thing. Sounds like a scam to me though. Easyjet scamming their customers. Doesn't look good. It's never happened to me so I am sure that it isn't a mainstream way of generating revenue unfairly. | sapphireblue1
29/7/2024 14:05 | Sapphire, not a scam, email from E jet, and I have to go into my account to see & verify the implication to our travel, then change it to what we want, not what they want us to have. | philmac56
29/7/2024 11:31 | Why you so hung up on Ryanair? Do you think it’s an either/or? Sapphire you still haven’t explained why this hasn’t reached your promised £6 by the end of last April ? | noramping
29/7/2024 11:15 | Yousif. However easyJet has no exposure to the immediate area and ryanair does yet ryanair is up and easyJet down. | sapphireblue1
29/7/2024 10:41 | Phil it sounds like a scam to me. I guess that they changed you to seats that you didn't want for nothing then you paid to change them. I don't think that Easyjet do this to scam £2 out of people. It's never happened to me in hundreds of flights. I have always got the extra leg space that I (my employer) paid for. | sapphireblue1
29/7/2024 10:34 | The imminent escalation of the conflict between Israel and Lebanon is not helping the airline stocks. Number of airlines suspended their flights to Lebanon from today. EZJ goes to Egypt only and had stopped its flights to Israel and Jordan since last year. | yousif
29/7/2024 09:17 | Remember EZJ can do no wrong in their eyes and is the bees knees, no issues whatsoever exist that others in the industry are having. As for the shares being undervalued, that’s an opinion (which I share partially) but it’s the same issue most/numerous companies which shareholders are complaining of. Will the share price go up over time, likely yes but could it be driven further down , yes possibly. Do I see £10 anytime soon , No I don’t even see £6 anytime soon unless interest rates come down soon and we have a full market bounce. | noramping
29/7/2024 09:17 | More disruption at Gatwick. Gatwick in general is a problem for EZY. Can talk about expansion all day but you can't get anymore air raft in and out of that place, the only thing you can do is buy bigger aircraft but you still have to fill them in the winter. | trying2trade |
