24/7/2024 06:51 | easyJet's third quarter profit improved by £33 million year-on-year as demand for easyJet's primary airport network continues to grow. Airline passenger numbers increased by 8% and RPS increased by 1% year-on-year, with headline CPS ex fuel increasing by 1%. However the 1% increase in average sector length meant that headline CASK ex fuel was flat year-on-year. easyJet holidays continues to perform strongly, growing PBT by 49% to £73 million with passenger growth of 33%.As at 30 June 2024, our net cash position was £456 million (£146 million as at 31 March 2024). All 16 aircraft, as expected, have been taken into ownership and delivered with the final one received in July.Bookings for Q4 continue to build, with 69% now sold, +1 ppt year-on-year with 7% more capacity on sale. 24/7/2024 06:48 | Great results. The strategy is working, maintaining their margins and holidays selling well. Load factor remains very high.Cash | cashandcard
24/7/2024 06:48 | Have I missed something? Ryanair pax numbers up 10% and easyjet up 8%. | iandippie
24/7/2024 06:39 | It's a landslide swing from blue to orange. This will accelerate as easyJet reach into ryanair catchment. Nobody chooses ryanair they are either looking for the cheapest or have no choice. Easyjet are providing choice and Southend like Birmingham will eat into ryanair dominated catchment. This is absolutely the best strategy, no need to compete head to head. | sapphireblue1
24/7/2024 06:37 | Absolute bargain at these prices. I am comfortable with my £5.02 average. | oakville
24/7/2024 06:36 | No ramping..filter and ignore. Hopefully nobody missed the opportunity. £37k placed for me since the ryanair results. | sapphireblue1
24/7/2024 06:34 | Yes people switching from Ryanair to easyJet. Expect a trend coming and gap to be filled to £5, and then this week to head to £5.40 as the next level to test. Money to be made early doors. Should be fun lol | onehanded
24/7/2024 06:33 | Noramping watch and weep, fanny | datait
24/7/2024 06:28 | EasyJet's recent results are quite encouraging, indicating a successful acquisition of passengers previously loyal to Ryanair. Furthermore, it appears that easyJet is positioning itself to attract Ryanair investors as well. I anticipate that the two chart gaps will be filled in the near future, reflecting this positive momentum. | f0rl0rn
24/7/2024 06:27 | As expected passengers obviously moving from Ryanair to Easyjet. It seems to me that the Easyjet holidays on its own justifies the current share price. The rest is in for free. | amt
24/7/2024 06:25 | Yea good update and should set a re-rating and share price rise. Early buy trades may well do great for day traders and those holding. Interest rate drop coming will help. First target £5… | onehanded

24/7/2024 06:19 | Great news | datait
24/7/2024 06:16 | Easyjet profit up 33%, compared to Ryanair profit down 46%!You can see why the market was spooked on Monday with Ryanairs Q1. But this clearly shows all is going well at Easyjet. £456m net cash shows that the company are generating lots of cash. Well over £300m in just 1 quarter. Expect a big jump today. | wallywoo
24/7/2024 06:11 | Cev some more factual evidence for you. Enjoy | sapphireblue1
24/7/2024 06:10 | Q1 25 ahead despite a massive new winter schedule. Holidays exceeded my numbers by £8m. I still see no reason why this price has been hammered, it should be over £6 with this rapid expansion in hand. Easyjet holidays is valued at zero. | sapphireblue1
24/7/2024 06:04 | Slightly stronger than I thought but well in the £220-250m range. Q4 looking strong even with all the extra seats to fill. Massive divergence between easyJet and Ryanair with easyJet the clear winner. Easyjet holidays as I have been saying are absolutely booming. | sapphireblue1
24/7/2024 06:03 | Results look better than I had expected | fitton
24/7/2024 06:03 | Results look as expected and in fact better. Could be a chance to add or get in as soon as market opens. £5 target. Any shorts better close and take profits | onehanded
24/7/2024 00:50 | That's a real minority and to say it's their first choice is way off the mark. Sure they'd pick an EZY flight over a Jet2 one. | trying2trade
23/7/2024 22:34 | Cev you need to understand the point of investing. The goal is to find those shares where the market perception doesn't match the factual situation. Seems like that fits easyjet quite well. I am not interested in shares in vogue, shares that are properly valued and shares that are well understood. | sapphireblue1
23/7/2024 21:24 | Sapphire, the factual evidence will come tomorrow. I actually agree with 90% of your posts, but you are a ramper. By the way, seriously, a company's share price does actually reflect the markets perception. Even when I bought Rolls-Royce at 70p, analysts were predicting i e David Berry at JP Morgan was predicting sub 50p. Now, holding 400000, I'm very happy with a lot more to come. Rolls-Royce I'm talking about. Easyjet will come good, probably £10, end of 25 regardless of Sapphire or non ramping. Sapphire, try Xhita on LSE, you are conjoined twins lol | cevodniya |
