Noramping, every day is the same, it's the Sapphire v Noramping show.
You still haven't explained whether you actually are an investor in this company or simply someone who is exceptionally negative towards it.
It does seem unusual for someone to spend as much time as you do, deramping the company if you are not invested.
Personally, I'm exceptionally disappointed with Easyjet, in at an average of £4.07p, i do feel that the company is grossly undervalued, but that's only my opinion.
Ah well, I'm happy with my Rolls-Royce at an average of 89.77p.

Cash/Sapphire there are advantages and disadvantages of local or main regional airports, it’s down to where you live, I’ve flown from Leeds/Bradford but my preference is Manchester due to where I live.

Sapphire,That's true for UK, London is uniquely well connected with 6 airports. But not all foreign airports, destinations are like this. I use Luton and Stansted to fly into main airports abroad with EZY. Not some unknown airport in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country in Europe.Cash

Cev, I’m waiting for the share price to rise dramatically and get to the ramped £6 promised by the constant rampers.

Doesn’t look like it will get there today :(

Seems the City isn’t overly impressed with the small improvements on a year ago and investors are happy to invest elsewhere, like RR.

So we have to wait months for the hopeful billion pound profits predicted, I remember Sapphire stating they were making £8m+ profit per day , my maths would equate that to much more than £230m , seems some days don’t count.

I don't understand the secondary airport comment. Is Luton a secondary airport??? How about Birmingham. These are regionals, easyJet use them for convenience and the catchment market. Nobody will travel to Heathrow unless they live nearby.
Holiday airports , there are no secondary airports.

Briefly reported on II this morning:

easyJet said it is set for a "record-breaking summer" as third-quarter earnings improved. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose 11% to GBP2.64 billion from GBP2.36 billion a year earlier. Headline pretax profit shot up 16% to GBP236 million from GBP203 million. Passenger numbers rose 8% during the period. "Our strong performance in the quarter has been driven by more customers choosing easyJet for our unrivalled network of destinations and value for money. This result was achieved despite Easter falling into March this year, demonstrating the continued importance of travel and this means we remain on track to deliver another record-breaking summer, taking us a step closer to our medium term targets," CEO Johan Lundgren said.

Secondary/tertiary airports is my bug bear - which is why I mentioned it separately and below. I don't really want to be doing even longer travel from a distant airport. Most folk look for the cheapest flight around, yes, but not if it means even longer travel, cost and headache to get to ultimate destination. This is where legacy does have a slight advantage, the slightly increased cost maybe worth it.Cash

UVA, If there are shorters , likely they shorted more than a few days ago when the share price was higher than today.

T2T, you are right, sapphires excuse generator is out today.

So we have recovered to where the share price was prior to the Ryanair inspired drop.

Not exactly a thumbs up from the city that this is share of the year and £6, £8 then £10 and the moon today or any time before the next update in months time.

Market completely wrong-footed..

Ryanair numbers the other day had everyone looking for negative read-across from other carriers. Very clearly very large short positions have opened with other 'similiar' travel companies out as a result.

So todays numbers come as a something of a surprise (I was hugely surprised) for the market and has left the shorts scrambling to buy back their positions.

Easyjet is clearly doing standout business. Package holiday numbers particularly pleasing.

So what's secondary airports got to do with a max? I'm telling you for a fact the average passenger has no idea if they're on an airbus or Boeing and 99,9% can't tell an NG from a max.

Cash I always avoid the large airports because everything takes so long. Easyjet flies to airports with great connections and nearby markets. When it comes to holidays there are no secondary airports. Overwhelmingly people want to fly from their local airport.

Book BA? Not really, hardly ever fly with them. Even RYA themselves wanted a rebrand of the max given all the negativity not long ago.I don't like flying to secondary or tertiary airports far from the destination, that's my bug bear.Cash

So do we get to the moon today?

Another way of looking at it is they have made a half year loss of over £110m , they then have peak summer demand in July and Aug to nudge into real profit, then before we know it we are into Autumn and winter.

I wonder to what degree passengers perception of RYAs fleet (737s) given all the negativity around Boeing from multiple incidents, may have had an impact? Cash
