The prices are through the roof.

UVA, there’s nothing upcoming news wise to suggest the share price will rally, if markets drop 10-20% then EZJ will follow (same as a lot of companies)

Long term will be down to market conditions.

look like more or less all stocks have caught a cold

Saphire and noramping both wrong in my view.

The company is fine. extreme views here mean nothing.

And the the current pricing has yet to find a balance.

The only thing that can be said truthfully on days like today is that the bearish mood is hitting everything.

EZY will do very well over the longer period. However....At some point max production is going to ramped up increasing aircraft availability for competitors. The P&W engines issue for airbus will be fixed, ramping up aircraft availability for competitors. They're currently badly positioned on fuel hedging, unlike ryanair. They're facing strikes from cabin crew. They've given the pilots a chunk of money so they'll have to give a similar amount to crew. Gatwick once again can't handle it's traffic, a huge base for EZY. Sapphire slags ryanair for using secondary airports, but those pax are arriving into London from Stansted before the ones from Gatwick...so who wins really?

Blueball, correct as I mentioned last week, EZJ gets a cold as does the rest of the market.

Markets are jittery and could react after USA opens again this afternoon.

There’s nothing going in EZJ favour at present and no news likely so likely will drift lower and below £4 in my opinion.

Old news. That was 4 days ago. Easyjet rapidly cancelled all the flights that are covered by the crew prior to the 14 day deadline.
The union gave the minimum of notice and at one of the busiest weekends.
As easyJet isolate revenue from routes and bases for their negotiations this just provides less funds to work with to settle the action.
A small part of the schedule but annoying for passengers and the airline.
This part network disruption and cancellations is what we are seeing this year against the previous cross network issues.
They just need to avoid loss days and revenues will be much higher.
The flights departing from other countries to Portugal are attracting premiums on the seats remaining.

Partly due to the pound rising against the dollar. Still encouraging.

A1 in Luton right now $670 MT. Easyjet hedge at around $850 MT.
We should see the average hedged rate into 25 dropped considerably from $830 H1 and $813 H2 so far disclosed. Saves around £2 a seat on a 90 minutes flight. Doesn't sound like much until you think about the number of passengers and the revenue per seat.

A day like today is as much about international markets as it is anything else. Have you seen the Dow?!

The Dow and S&P are the big dogs that wag the FTSE tail.

EZJ has a high volatility and a high beta.. If it did not get hit on a day like today.. well.. that really would be strange

* also depends on their fuel hedging.

Actually that is interesting about the price of jet fuel.

The price of fuel will make up a bigger percentage of the running costs amongst the low cost airlines than amongst the larger airlines.

So yes, agreed, lower fuel prices means increased margins here.

EZJ is a SETS MM stock and does indeed have market makers. They just sit well off the Bid and Offer prices.

Infact, they are currently sitting around 414 Bid and 436 on the Offer.

Basing the profits of a company of easyjets size on 16 rooms booked for a one off event in March is another sapphire classic. Absolutely clueless, pie in the sky guess work.

What you may mean is...I've got the timing of my buy price wrong!.

£3.75 type area more than possible,
IF wider markets sell off.

It has this should be well over £6.50. £4.50 for the airline and £2.00 for the holiday business that's currently rated zero.

You know what...this is nonsense.. Have you seen the price of aviation fuel?It is near 24 month lows. This alone plus the high levels of bookings means that low-cost airlines are going to make an absolute killing this yearThe market has got this one wrong
