30/6/2018 10:06 | just googlw what will brexit mean for uk airlines. simples | shaker44
30/6/2018 09:50 | Yes post Brexit. What are the possible political eventualities and most likely ones in people’s opinions? Even in short would be helpful. | 11023154
30/6/2018 09:43 | Well it looked like 700 was to be tested and it is still in a down trend. Numbers to be reported will beat forecasts even after the 2 upgrades. Had a fantastic second half post MONARCH and a big jump in prices. I think what the market is looking at is guidance going forward and we all know DTG take a cautious view. The start of this year (MAY) has continued very well and load factors remain very high. Dart is moving to a slim version of T cook /TUI without the cost base ( shops). That's why its taking market share and we may well do 3 m holidays this year . That's almost another doubling from the last 1.7 year ago. I think the headwinds are Oil going up as it has and the cost of the 30 odd new planes. They need a plan to replace the 757 fleet within 5 years. Subject to the numbers being as I forecast I expect shares at 10.00 this year and eventually the company making 200m a year and a market cap of 2b by 2020 That leaves plenty of upside to go at even with some turbulence on route. I hope to attend the AGM again this year. best Tiger | castleford tiger
30/6/2018 09:21 | if you mean post brexit, I believe all affected have shadow plans but believe that open sky will continue as negotiations progress.certainty is nice but I actually agree with uk approach to staying their hand until closer to the wire. Eu are hopeless to negotiate with and want to screw us as a message to other potential leavers. but they need our financial contribution so dont want a no deal brexit in my view. | shaker44
30/6/2018 08:59 | Does anyone have a good insight into the political situation? I can’t find anything online. | 11023154
30/6/2018 08:57 | not an issue if they run budget with its own staff contracts etc. I dont feel dismissive about a new competitor with the muscle of iag.they will discount heavily initially to build awareness, momentum and bums on seats. I will not invest more in dtg until I see market reaction thru july. | shaker44
30/6/2018 08:51 | BA does not have the cost base to compete at the lower end of the package holiday. w1 | woozle1
30/6/2018 08:23 | but thats only starters. should expect it to merge with Vueling, and more uk than only into gatwick. I bet their 5 year plan includes comp with ryan, easy, dtg. | shaker44
30/6/2018 07:36 | that budget airline is based in Vienna and not competing with DTG. That;s not to say it not was the reason. w1 | woozle1
30/6/2018 05:38 | hmm. just reading BA budget outfit,Level, adding to competition from 17/7. I suspect this has caused the drop? views? | shaker44
29/6/2018 08:05 | Tiger, apologies if I have missed but as the guru often with inside track, can you share any data on current load factors cf. prior year(s), such a critical dynamic, bums on seats. | shaker44
28/6/2018 21:45 | I've scoured Bloomberg etc and the only things I can think of are: - failure to secure regulatory approvals post Brexit - high oil price - the CMA have announced an enquiry into the online booking platforms And finally, a good old fashioned mm tree shake to secure stock before the next update. w1 | woozle1
28/6/2018 21:25 | Any reason anyone? | castleford tiger
28/6/2018 18:55 | I couldn't help my self and bought another 10k shares at 734. w1 | woozle1

28/6/2018 14:24 | falling knife. catch later | shaker44
28/6/2018 14:00 | 7.40 filled | snorkelparker
28/6/2018 13:59 | More fills 15k at 7.575 and 7.40 working | snorkelparker
28/6/2018 13:09 | My sentiments too. So much government in fighting. UK can’t even agree on it’s own Brexit position. More weakness to come. | doogle99
28/6/2018 12:48 | Brexit Turkeys voted for Xmas! They can't complain. | woozle1
28/6/2018 12:23 | Down again today by 2.7pc to 760p, so bought at 763p inc charges. Fully agree with share price that there will be negative comments by PM on 12 July, Brexit hurdle does have to be overcome. However if UK and EU can't agree a simple 3rd freedom deal, I suspect we have much more to worry about...... | fokker45
28/6/2018 04:44 | I agree with CF that numbers will beat, its PH commentary on trading conditions that's a worry, as he tends to downplay the following year. They currently have no license post BREXIT as things stand, we are all of the view that this should not be an issue. But they are now taking bookings for holidays, that they may not have the ability to fly too. which would be a legal nightmare if something goes wrong. Maybe comment on oil price risk moving into the following year 2019 - 20. Also Maybe GBP weakness will get a mention too. But let's not expect a announcement without some caution and negativity | snorkelparker |
