I'm very bullish on the prospects ATM chrisis33, yes upbeat indeed.

I'll wait for next news before speculating too much, but my inkling is that any decent improvements to LFL sales, margins and costs could see a much stronger boost to the share price

Had a sneaky feeling we'd see a bit of volume today. 200K bought this AM, and AGM + ex dividend date drawing nearer.

Might Yorkshire style chicken have wings?

Bang on the nail! If only they could see the light...

BBQ weather coming to an end for a while by the looks of the forecast. I see a buy and a sell for 50k this morning. 4p to buy looks a bargain to me.

Someone building a stake gradually and a seller at 4p?

Thanks Playful... I'm living in the south east these days, but i'll definitely pop in if I'm in the area. Huddersfield came across very positively in the programme.

Chrisis33, if you are ever in Huddersfield pop in and have a chat with Jason the Huddersfield manager and you'll get a good understanding of how our shops are run.

Yes good to see both those items chrisis33. Poor Tesco's :)) I'm relying on dividends now as i've decided to retire a few years earlier than i thought. Switching most of my portfolio into high yielding shares as and when it's possible.

Thanks playful, in my condition best not lol. I never was a salad fan but have been converted! Looking forward to your AGM report.
Certainly barbecue weather must be helping sales ATM.

I have emailed the CEO earlier today to get them to remove a link to pornographic material from the company F.B page which was posted on the 26/5 and is still there (don't look)

We will tackle the management team head-on at the AGM on a number of contentious issues and will as always report back.

Good to see you back BB2 and hope your healthy eating regime will not stop you shopping with us.

Any reason for the drop off?? Has anyone asked the company for a reason?. In this social media age i would have thought it a must though like i'm prehistoric i don't have it. I do like this 5% yield i feel a trip to the USA coming on, to see family if i'm up to it. Strange i would have expected buying up to the x dividend date and the AGM update if there is one. Must be a seller on the books as you i've just checked online and the max is 10k at 3.75.

The drop off in social media and web activity is very noticeable Playful.
Currently available under 4p to buy - that's a 5%+ yield.

I would love to see Crawshaws commission a mobile app similar to this one which helps people achieve the perfect cooking time for their meat and is proving hugely popular. In total, the app has tallied over 42,000 downloads, but with the company website and social media activity grinding to a halt back in February I deem it highly unlikely.

Better volume to start the day - anything above 3.8p looks to be a buy IMO.
