09/5/2013 19:27 | Thankyou for putting my mind at ease Chrisis33 i didn't catch on it was 2009. Ali. | investali
09/5/2013 19:01 | Also, we see an addition to freehold propert assets of c. £60k. No idea what this is for. Other point to note is that as well as the yoy boost to the cash position of c.£250k, trade payables have also been reduced by around £160k year on year. | chrisis33
09/5/2013 18:57 | Sagemoss ... No idea. The list in Playful's post is from 2009. He's simply illustrating that 3%+ holders have been previously included. SL trying to spread doubt and encourage sells? Nothing new as far as I can see in the annual report versus the results. Lincoln market and Lincoln deli are listed as one on the website, but 2 stores in the report. That's the difference re 19 v 20 stores. I'm wondering what the intention is for the Bramley store, where we saw an asset impairment last year as 'offered for sale'. This has yet to be reversed and we retain the store at present. | chrisis33
09/5/2013 18:26 | Am i missing something as i seem to be in the dark here? And who are Sagemoss Holdings at 2.93% and what is S.L. talking about?? Ali. | investali

09/5/2013 16:40 | We finally have our annual report albeit late (again): I find it especially noteworthy that our company have suddenly introduced a 5% requirement to merit a mention in this year's annual report. This was never the requirement in previous years, we can all see below a sub 3% holding has already been recognised, so what could possibly be the reason for introducing the 5% other than to deliberately exclude someone? Unfortunately, I cannot see any other explanation. The continuing obligations that an AIM company is required to comply with are similar to those of a company with an LSE listing. An AIM company must take care that any information it notifies is not misleading, false or deceptive and does not omit anything likely to affect the import of such information and must notify the information no later than it is published elsewhere (AIM Rule 10). Under paragraph 39 of the AIM Rules a nomad must be available at all times to advise and guide the directors of an AIM company for which it acts about their obligations to ensure compliance by the AIM company on an ongoing basis with the rules and to act with due skill and care. The role of nomads in keeping investors informed is crucial to ensuring investors' trust in the market. Substantial shareholdings in Anpario most recent annual report are shown as 3 per cent or more Substantial shareholdings in Bookers most recent annual report are shown as 3 per cent or more A shareholder should not be deliberately excluded just because he questions the remuneration of the F.D during the company A.G.M I wonder if this decision was recorded in the minutes of the board meeting when it was decided to introduce the 5% requirement? Also, the report mentions we have 20 shops but our website tells us we have only 19 which is correct? | playful
08/5/2013 22:58 | Ali, the share price is underpinned by both the discount to a growing tangible NAV, the dividend yield and the forecast dividend yield. Sellers at 3.75p are foregoing a 5.33% dividend on the 3.75p in a few short weeks. So I can see upward movement from here. | chrisis33
08/5/2013 22:45 | I don't think a reverse share split would cost alot to initiate it would be a button pressing excercise. | cashflo
08/5/2013 22:42 | sir leo you really are a character indeed, great to have such a unique personality and vibrance on here it must be a good sign. Must be something under your caps lock (4th key down on the left) seems to be stuck on. Dig it out if you can - behold the joy of lower case letters. Have these brokers ever thought while supping their starbucks Caramel Macchiatos at 10:30 that if the ruddy spread was reduced then it would be more highly traded? | cashflo
08/5/2013 22:37 | While i try not to respond to idiots can i make it clear that i have not been selling anything this week and furthermore i cannot see this falling S.L. Ali. | investali

08/5/2013 21:20 | That's based on c.5% this year paid in July, and 6% same time next year. The annual dividend is 5% or a forecast 6% for the following year. Apologies, I should have been clearer. Ps. Thanks Ali for the info about the MMs | chrisis33
08/5/2013 21:11 | Is that right chrisis33 about a 10% dividend? Ali. | investali
08/5/2013 21:10 | I know there is a large spread but it is a penny punt. Has there not been spreads so tight here before i sold a few. We have four market makers from memory and i believe because it's thinly traded they need a spread to make a few bob. Cashflo that 1 for 10 sounds good to me but would it cost much to initiate? Ali. lol just reread your post about terminal 3 cashflo :>) | investali
08/5/2013 20:56 | Agree 100% on the spread, although it's often possible to trade within it. 4.18p to buy at the moment. As for a 1 for 10, possibly. I've not really got a view. I first bought at 2p v 2.5p. Again, a huge spread but if the buy price makes sense then why not. Always wonder why we see such a large spread? Anyone know the exact reasons? Do we just have the one MM? Or is it because it's a lightly traded stock? | chrisis33
08/5/2013 20:09 | Flying sub-radar to most in my opinion. It's a strongly cash generative business (650k Ebitda) on a low market cap of 2.4m GBP. I've been musing as to whether someone might snap the whole thing up. EBITDA for the current year should top 0.8m GBP in my opinion. It's not a share that gets any coverage from tipsters etc. But I agree that value should out eventually one way or another. Buyers over the next few weeks can expect to achieve a 10%+ dividend yield over 14 months. | chrisis33 |
