04/12/2013 12:58 | Another good volume day. | chrisis33
27/11/2013 18:11 | Thanks Playful ... looking very good. Agree that the signage looks spot on. | chrisis33
27/11/2013 17:41 | Nice one playful, that seems a very modern design for a building. Hope that chicken goes down well. | battlebus2
27/11/2013 17:35 | Thanks playful The signage has a good butcher heritage look to it Nigel | nfs
27/11/2013 17:31 | The new Sheffield market was buzzing today and our shop looked amazing and the best news is the council included all the cabinets as part of the deal which I would hazard a guess includes a long rent free period perhaps running until 2015, so all we did was provide the signage before opening very low cost indeed. I talked with a member of the management team and he seemed very happy with how things are progressing and I came away feeling very proud of them and not to mention a "crawshaw" carrier bag full of chicken so heavy it needed to be double bagged. Some snaps... | playful
26/11/2013 22:56 | I am visiting the Sheffield shop tomorrow so will no doubt be boosting their takings.... | playful
26/11/2013 17:50 | Some volume again today, over 1m traded. | chrisis33
26/11/2013 10:26 | Just take a look at the bowl here imo - massive potential for a recovery to that former high and beyond imo: | cockneyrebel
26/11/2013 07:48 | Not surprised considering the 4 week volume showing nearly 9 million shares changed hands. | playful
26/11/2013 07:34 | Yep , another good decision by them but as i said before the mm's were only to glad to get the shares :)) | battlebus2
26/11/2013 07:31 | There's your answer (see rns). Henderson (Fund) selling. Ps. They previously held nearly 9%. | chrisis33
25/11/2013 20:29 | Who sold 400,000 shares? | tadders2
25/11/2013 18:55 | Every time I look in here I start to feel nauseous or is it faint after the dizzy heights this continues to reach. Well done holders. Ali. | investali
25/11/2013 13:30 | A very high volume of shares and number of trades this morning. Over one million traded so far today which is more than traded in a fortnight until the last results showed the positive trend in company like for likes deserved more attention. | davidosh
25/11/2013 00:20 | @daviddosh I may live in London sometime soon and if I do I can't wait to come and see a Mello evening. | bahrainchris
24/11/2013 23:59 | BahrainChris...No offence at all. Small caps are totally different to Big ones and the old adage that elephants do not run probably sums it up best as the really small companies can double and triple very quickly if they come out with outstanding figures combined with awareness and a raising of the profile. The vast majority of FTSE350 companies are covered by tens of analysts and brokers spotting every potential change in company performance often making sure the market keeps up with events....However in smaller companies there can be little information and share prices can drift very low if companies have no sunshine on their backs and institutional investors give up on them. That is what happened here at Crawshaw when I picked up my initial decent sized stake from disinterested sellers. As Richard Rose said on Monday 'It was ridiculous that the company was trading at a share price that was barely the value of the cash in the bank and the stock and assets of the shops' Welcome to small caps on Aim | davidosh
24/11/2013 23:29 | I hope I haven't offended anyone. This is my first trip into the Wild West of ADVFN. I own FTSE100 stuff but enjoy reading about smaller stuff. I hope you all get very rich! :-) Chris | bahrainchris
24/11/2013 21:01 | Any news locally on how Christmas hamper sales are going ? Do folks order well before Christmas or suddenly try to book one in the last two weeks ? I would expect peak orders to be this week and next but interesting to know....how many would they hope to sell per store ? | davidosh
24/11/2013 18:49 | Thanks Playful ... there's definitely value in constructive use of social media for a company like CRAW. Should definitely be helping to raise awareness about the Xmas hampers. | chrisis33
24/11/2013 18:45 | Very interesting experiment, looks like a city market to be tapped into. Even city folks like value for money. | battlebus2
24/11/2013 18:33 | Funny you should mention Greggs, Battlebus. It has half a dozen branches in the City of London, all vying for the rich pickings offered by lunch time trade. Yet, it's a butchers that, of late, persistently has queues where you'd have to wait 15-20 minutes to get served. hxxp://www.goodforlu | experiment
24/11/2013 17:46 | Chrisis33, I don't know but with over 2000 FB likes and almost 5000 shares on the Christmas hamper competition, which incidentally is the first proactive promotion they have attempted on social media something must be happening. I would suggest they get an active blog going and setup a blogger outreach programme to build on this momentum. | playful |
