O/T chrisis33 if you get a chance take a look at Croma (CSSG) and see what you think, GHF also pretty bullish about this one, seems the sort of share you like market cap of 2.79 million with a turnover of 13 million and growing.

Not formally, but £120k extra profit per additional store per year would seem the order of the day given 4-5 year payback period? That's without factoring in any economies of scale.

Has anyone modelled the effect of a simple two store growth model allied with 5%,10% and now potentially 15% like for like growth rates on overall profits on an annual basis ? If margins are simply maintained it looks fab but Crawshaws are actually improving the gross margins and reducing administrative costs as a percentage too. Richard and his team are doing an excellent job.

The PPT presentation has been on their site for a while now, but I don't think I'd seen a link for it here. Sorry if it's already been posted.

Another of the Mello attendees from Monday evening has provided a review of his thoughts and Q&A list for those who may want to read it and reply or add to it. There are a couple of slight inaccuracies there but generally a very good write up I think.

Hull is named UK City of Culture 2017 - We have two shops here and one is within the city centre where we own the freehold, so we should see some inward investment into the city boosting trade for local business.

Ah, missed post 1 battlebus - sadly.

I bought the bowl here, along with the director buying, interims being so good and noticing Richard Rose was Chairman. Took a punt on it being the same one but it was the chart, results that screamed the biggest buy indicator at the time.

He certainly is C.R. i've been following him for years that's what drew me to Crawshaws, check out post number 1. I've also owned shares in every PLC he's been in as others on here will tell you. He is a first class act imv and i certainly owe him a drink or two :))

The rise here has been on very large volume since the start of the month.

Thanks re Richard Rose.

I missed out on WF Electronics but became aware of Rose there. Eagle Investments did well out of him in that one I seem to remember. Followed him into Whittard where he turned that around dramatically and then followed him into Booker - another master class in turnarounds.

He is definitely a guy to follow imo

Listen well done here holders, it pains me a little to have sold out when I could have trebled my selling average. Thinking seriously of buying in again or have I missed the boat this time??
