17/4/2022 05:12 | The copper players were from a guy on lse who is usually pretty reliable. However the real point is that a number of nearby gold miners are looking into gold which validates what Mark is doing. It also seems highly likely that it’s Rio as they are the major who is active in Nicaragua. | 888icb
16/4/2022 17:57 | Daniel Ortega is a 'key copper player'? And the South Korean Embassy? | zangdook
16/4/2022 10:09 | From LSE bb: “ Key copper players in Nic: Calibre Mining Corp. B2Gold Corp. Daniel Ortega Embajada de Corea del Sur en Nicaragua Kim Doo-Sik RIO has been looking at Nic for at least the last two years.” The potential to produce copper, which is in short supply, funded by a Major such as Rio looks like a big plus to me. Indeed it would be negligent of Mark not to look into the copper opportunity. It looks as if the next few weeks and months at Condor will be very interesting. | 888icb
16/4/2022 03:22 | There might not be very much goldDespite all the tales that were told So say something on copperTell some more whoppersAnd the game will never get old? | diggybee
15/4/2022 22:50 | Here is what someone at Goldman Sachs said about the very bullish prospects for copper: “ When people think about the commodity boom that's under way, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the price of oil. People all over the world know where it's priced due to regular fluctuations in the price of gasoline. And of course, oil is crucial both politically and geopolitically. But perhaps the big story of the next several years is going to be copper. On the latest episode of the Odd Lots podcast, we speak with Goldman's top commodity strategist, Jeff Currie, who said this regarding copper: "I would argue copper is likely to be the tightest commodity we'll have ever seen. Now it's much tighter than what oil was during the 2000s. Let me remind you, oil went up 7x in the 2000s. Our forecast is $15.000 a ton on copper, but no matter what technology you use, you're gonna be using electricity. And the only thing that can conduct electricity given the rules around the periodic table and the rules of chemistry is copper at the rate we need to conduct it, which means that the demand for copper's gonna be there. So I think there's upside around our $15,000 target, which by the way, if you started this cycle at $5,000 copper, $15,000 is a 3X. And oil was a 7X over that time period, the upside potential in copper, I think, is significant." Not only is copper going to be incredibly tight, it's absolutely essential if we're going to electrify everything and move more energy use off of oil. So for it to be the tightest commodity we'll have ever seen is a big deal” | 888icb

Mark has now told us in a restricted way due to an NDA that a Major commodity company is looking at doing a deal in relation to copper. Other companies in Nicaragua are involved with copper including Calibre. I am not sure why saying something positive regarding a major company funding copper mining should be referred to as ramping. This copper mining if it comes off could give a major boost to Condors value at no cash cost to Condor. Mark has managed to give us an indication of what is going on but isn’t able to issue an RNS until negotiations under the NDA are concluded. Potentially very positive for CNR and it’s shareholders. | 888icb

15/4/2022 08:48 | I think the Cu tease is designed to pump the market ahead of the inevitable fund raising element - if true. | bahamasoil

13/4/2022 13:43 | Currently Up 1.5% at 34.50p on volume 0f 409000. There have now been 4 buys at full offer of 35p, so let’s see if the upwards trend continues as we start to break out from the range we have been trapped in for the last few months. Gold also doing well today have pushed briefly above 1980. | 888icb
12/4/2022 15:47 | Let us hope and see what tomorrow brings as there have been plenty of false dawns here in the recent past. GL especially to the LTH club. | connect5
12/4/2022 15:33 | It is certainly a better day today with the steady rise through the day now Up 7.9% on volume of just 208000 from 21 trades just 2 of which are small sells. It just reminds us how quickly this can move on serious volume. I imagine the proximity of the BFS is encouraging some buys as it will hopefully spark a rerate to the levels we were trading at this time last year. We are trading at a massive discount to our true value so there is plenty of scope for a substantial rise. | 888icb
12/4/2022 15:20 | Well, seems that some small gold shares are beginning to come out of the cold now. If this imminent report, doesn't produce the goods, I'm gone. Equally if it does, but the price doesn't move significantly, that's another no-no. Too many other promising small goldies, also driven down in price, to hang about here. | q2g
12/4/2022 14:50 | The large investors do not necessarily profit from the share price raise as such, but from subcontracting one of their non-public companies by one of their public companies. This is why you have to watch out consulting fees in the annual reports. | oldiegoldie
12/4/2022 14:12 | I have to say I never thought I would say it let alone do it, but I would seriously have to consider your strategy at £0.50p. Enough is enough people get shorter sentences for murder. GLA. | connect5
12/4/2022 13:24 | Moneyweek. Also, more recently, bought another Melon Lemon called Agronomics which is another pile of steaming excrement ! Luckily these, along with other dogs such as Itaconix, Mobile Streams, Gulf Marine, OPG, Sulnox and Shield Theraputics account for less than 20% of my portfolio the rest being in boring mainstream stuff. Sometimes these things pay off. See i3Energy - bought at 14p three months ago and now 27p. So not all bad. Need about 50p on Condor to break even. Currently have around 60,000 shares mostly in a SIPP. | dexdringle
12/4/2022 12:42 | dexdringle was writing a poem I'm awfully clever, I'll show 'em But he never explained with his powerful brain Why he was in Condor too | zangdook
