12th May

I am going to go and ask awkward questions.

I have read the RNS can't find any reference to FS being delayed it just mentions all the things they have completed for th FS.

Can someone cut and paste if I have missed it.

Ta.

Oldiegoldie, please show me your calculations to show that our money spent on salaries is higher than our market cap? If we didn't pay any salaries, we wouldn't have a company. Do you expect all employees to work for free? The BOD is small here. Look at other exploration companies for some perspective please.

Now you wouldn't want to kill the directors' golden goose, would you ? There's oodles of naivety still to be mined from the investors' shallow minds. I think they call it fools' gold.

You're all being very mean not wanting to continue contributing to the directors' retirement pension.

Throw theme punters, or whatever you want to call them, the occasional sprat, such as a highly detailed Report of activities, and they'll be so bamboozled with all the information, they'll soon forget what they wanted to see in the first place.

I call it brilliant, and the Board should be in line for an Oscar.

If we are honest, we shareholders have financed Marks and other director salaries for 16 years now.
Digest that: The money spent on salaries is higher than the current market capisalisation.

It beats me that he thought he could drag this out for so long without the coming clean. It says a lot about his fellow directors and their suitability for office.

Extrapolating for what I know, the negotiations with the coop:

15 months ago They lasted 5 mins :
the coop's associates asked for $5000 x 180 (approx. number associates), plus the mestiza or land in nance dulce

This year , another 5 mins , the miners reduced the asking cash component of the price to $4000 x 180

We are waiting for the goverment to intervine

Imho Coop Associates are reasonable , but onother land owener is not as he is asking cnr to buy land we dont need

888
The thruth will make u free
U are sitting confortably in proffits as u bought at around 5p, but for me, so far, cnr is taking away my savings (at least on paper). I hope to buy more when I hear land negotiations with the coop have been completed

No 888, you are quite wrong - we are not in the business of "bigging up" the company in the face of bad news. Look, I actually appreciate your positivity and extensive knowledge of the company. The report today highlights a lot of progress last year and a huge potential, but it is not good enough to give a deadline for the FS and then fail to meet it. We have been told over and over that the land is not an issue and I have been happy to go along with that, but I now have my doubts. I highlighted the effect this would have yesterday and here we are.
I am not a long term holder, although 2 years is starting to feel like it. I have not traded this share, ever.
We are all here to make money, but I feel we have lost some trust in the company this year and what is still only a potential mine needs all the trust and goodwill it can get.

Yes, I'm sure the landowners are reading advfn and quoting us in their price negotiations, and of course that completely explains the glaring contradictions in today's results.

I notice you want me (for pointing out problems) to apologise to myself (as a long term shareholder). Your paranoid conspiracy theory that everyone posting about their concerns must have a "trading agenda" is quite ridiculous. Get a grip, and explain the contradictions in the report if you can.

I think all the posters on this and other bb’s who have kept highlighting issues regarding the land and demanding updates from Mark should apologise to the actual long term holders for the damage they have done to the companies share price, in pursuit of their own trading agenda’s. If any of you have any experience of negotiating a deal, you would realise how much more difficult that is if you have to give a running commentary of how it’s going in a public forum. Essentially he has had to supply the landowners with ammunition to use against him.
The report is very positive in terms of what has been achieved and the boxes that still need to be ticked are very close to being ticked. It is disappointing that the deadline has been missed but it is of no material consequence to our time lone to production, indeed a number of the studies are beyond FS stage. Let’s see what Mark has to say in person.

The report is kind of irrelevant in my mind. What is upsetting the share price is Mark's continued wilful obfuscation over the land. And his failure to deliver the BFS by end March which was his own deadline. It just continues to add to a rather sad perception of untrustworthy shiftiness, which to be fair may not be a fair reflection on the intrepid Nicaraguan gold prospector, but is a dire reflection on the public relations of the company, which he seems to insist on doing entirely himself. When it is possible, that on reflection, somebody else, anybody else, might be better suited to that particular task.

It is time for the the warrant holders to step up. Investors will willingly support a good management in times of trouble. Let us see if they still have confidence in Mark or whether they feel hoodwinked.

Down it inevitably comes. Bloody deramping Mark. Sweepstake on the next raise? I reckon 25p but mkt may push it below that.

In addition, the Company can also demonstrate physical possession for approximately 18 years on the land covering the Mestiza open pit, has purchased 98% of this land and has claimed ownership over 303 hectares in this area.

Trying to find a positive interpretation...does this mean they have purchased 98% and the 303 ha they have claimed is the remaining 2%? So assuming the claim is good they have it all at Mestiza?
