"all the land we currently need" - you might as well say we have 100% of the land we currently have.

What does he care as he knows exactly what's not going to happen for a very long time.

His only duty is to maintain and collect his salary and extras, which can easily be achieved by more share dilution, using the appropriate PR codswallop for the particular moment in time.

No wonder AIM has such a bad reputation. Here is a prime example of small shareholders being suckered, and in this case the company's track record justifies these comments.

1airbag, he is not actually being untruthful, just disingenuous, when you tackle him, he will tell you we do own all the land we currently need ........ just not ALL of the land we will ultimately need.

The land is an issue until it isn't, no number of disingenuous remarks from Mark will change that until it is locked down and under contract! I have taken this up with him and he gives the same banal response "the land is not an issue".

My point about the BFS has been exactly that any issues relevant to the financing will have to be dealt with in the BFS to satisfy the financing requirements. Mark can’t say the land is not an issue if it is, which has also been my point for sometime.

Indeed, 888ICB I think you got the concept of a BFS wrong. BFS merely drafts a financing scenario.
This is why MC has to get the land non-issue and the toll milling scenario straight in a legally binding manner BEFORE issueing the BFS.

The BFS won't lead to financing unless the company can assure the market that it has purchased all the land. The CEO mumbling lies in a video won't cut it with banks.

The reality is other mines are operating nearby one of which has only commenced production very recently. The truth is the protests from a small number of the usual suspects will not affect the BFS leading to the financing of the mine and to it going into production on schedule and or someone making an offer.

From a broader perspective it appears to me that the "Gurkha approach" does not seem to work in South America. Different kind of mentality there.

There are always people who protest about mining and infrastructure anywhere in the world. Usually many of the vocal protesters are not local to the mine. There are well organised international anti mining groups who organise anti mining articles in the press and social media. If you read newspapers or have investments in other mining companies you will be well aware that protests are to be expected and always happen. I am not sure why you are choosing to highlight such issues just a few days before the BFS is issued. Condor has done a lot for the local people over a number of years in accordance with international good practice.
