13/7/2006 20:03 | Fingers crossed for a successful break through 930p. | wilmot
13/7/2006 18:28 | Could be, volume shown is around 90K, which is higher than usual for the last couple of months, but they're mostly sells, so there must be some large delayed buys to go through which would make volume traded today very large.... | angora7
13/7/2006 16:38 | Sharp rise at the end, on such a bad day too. Maybe somat's afoot.......... | deadly

16/6/2006 09:49 | RNS out, set to make an acquisition, no news as to whether ot not it'll be earnings enhancing immediately, but time will tell. Might finally get that breakout now. | andyh78
08/6/2006 19:31 | In my opinion this is appears to be a great share. Good P.E, Nice divi. Due for a nice breakout looking back at the 2 year chart. Fingers crossed. As you say being holding well in the recent conditions. This is a company that is undervalued.Good last report. | webuser08

08/6/2006 17:38 | OK, OK, I'll carry on holding! I do like the company, just don't like the fact that it seems to be affected so much by the BDI, which is out of the mgmgt control, although theyhave been diversifying over the last year or so. Anybody know what has happened to the BDI during the market decline? | angora7
08/6/2006 17:05 | I agree -to rise while others are falling shows great promise. | davebowler
08/6/2006 17:02 | In a bull market, I would say this chart looks excellent; but the fact that its held up so well in the current market is exceptional. All IMO, if we get some kind of bounce, or at least steadyness in the market, then this will breakout majorly, toward that 1300p broker target. DYOR. | andyh78
08/6/2006 15:02 | Anybody got any strong views on this share at the moment? I'm tempted to topslice, with MACD and rsi both indicating a drop, but, the way they've held up during the recent market decline and their low pe makes we want to keep on holding. Any views appreciated. | angora7

31/5/2006 23:17 | Even though 22p XD today, and despite it starting down, finished up. So that's a pleasant surprise after the poor share price performance recently, and the market. | deadly
26/5/2006 14:58 | No shortage of news- all good as far as I can tell. | davebowler
24/5/2006 20:24 | Nobody noticd the AGM statement. Like this bit: "Your company remains well placed to produce another excellent result in 2006" Still it went down like a damp squib. Got to be great value at this level, and I'll buy more if it falls. | deadly

11/5/2006 12:44 | take a look at my other posts, but seriously UV vs FSJ and Braemar....one broker a fwe months ago suggested c.60%+ undervalued in comparison....nice to see anotehr broker see this as well | qs9
11/5/2006 08:19 | Plus ex-divi end of month. 22p not too shabby. | acm
11/5/2006 08:17 | Panmure Gordon reiterated their buy recommendation of 1300p yesterday. Possibly reason for movement. | acm
08/5/2006 16:53 | Well I ISA'd a few of these last week. Drop today, but price rose at the close. G | goatman
04/5/2006 11:38 | time for a bounce? BMS results and outlook was very upbeat today. CR | cockneyrebel
30/4/2006 17:41 | Another angle, is to say this: 1 company has proven track record, proven management 2 they are proven cash generators and has zero debt, likely to stockpile cash again this year IMO 3 good yield and well covered 4 MORE importantly, FSJ are apparently on a forward rating of 19 in the FT this weekend, and Braemar are on a high rating as well....yet CKN is on a forward p./e (based on Barclays stockbrokers consensus estimates of c.9....and OP to EV of about 6.......SURELY CKN is as good or even worst case "just slightly under" the ratings of Braemar & FSJ, not HALF.... I think market may have got this wrong, and/OR CKN have cr*p investor relations people and communications is poor to the city (hence all the confusion on estimates)......this is the BIGGEST point IMO, that CKN management need to communicate CLEARLY to the market/analysts and build up some support for what they are building.... DYOR etc | qs9 |
