Interesting,

IG Index have stopped taking bets on CLTV and that ticker is now only available if you want to close positions.

I wanted to buy a few more via spread bet, but can't...

when they 'say something' it could just be to closing the enquiry, maybe saying that self-regulation is the way forward, but mentioning certain rules that need to be applied.

As far as I'm concerned, it would be illegal under eu law to effectively ban the channels, under the pretence tht the shows need more editorial

You still believe Ofcom are going to say something? I'm not sure. Might they not just leave the status quo?

Sounds like TDW are the way to go, I tried to get 100k at 2.5p, 2.55p. 2.6p, 2.65p. 2.7p, then gave up lol!

I'm pretty sure when we get the ofcom confirmation we will see 8p very quickly. Even better when they have to reveal the revenue from the Freeview channels!

You can get 35k shares instantly online with TDW right now and they should give you the nms of 50k over the phone at the current offer

It's definitely a bit different from six months ago when you could buy a million at below the bid and sell virtually nothing without going to the brokers

Morning, analyst and stefanos good points. I still see we have a drought of stock available, i thought the MM's have an obligation to maintain a market in a listed company, at the moment this is not happening. My view is somebody has a large buy order in with the MM's and is trying to hoover up any avialable stock but within a price limit, so its the mm,s reluctance not to budge atm.
Yesterday i tried through my broker for 250k and offered over the top of the quoted offer, the MM,s did,nt even get back to my broker with a possible price.
I'd say interesting times ahead.

I do know, that back when they got their very first Freeview channel, they had a massive celebration they were so excited. What does that tell you?

Well, if they were excited then, how about now that they have a near monopoly on the Freeview and Freesat channels?

On top of that, factor in the fact there has been an enforced retune on Freeview that means hundreds of thousands of viewers that didn't know about these channels will now have found them.

I really do think this could be worth millions in profits

Company is now making big profits and will be re-rated soon. £1m this year and £2m+ next year is most likely. Confirmation of ofcom decision will see us rise to 12p in my honest opinion

ZERO shares up for grabs, yet you can sell 500k at mid-price. When did you last see ZERO shares up for grabs?????

See what the price is come March when ofcom is confirmed and the company have to report the big money coming in from the Freeview and Freesat channels

I suspect it will be very difficult to buy any sort of significant spread bet on CLTV too. If you go above market size, I'm sure they will simply contact the MMs and hedge it

Right now, you can buy 50k at the offer price, if your broker phones through. A limit order should see the purchase complete at 2.5p, I'd have thought.

You may even get 100k at 2.5p, if you put a limit order on

Hmm. A shake could be expected but have you checked out the limits recently there has been a shortage of stock of late here which is kind of hard to believe, the last time i wanted more of any quantity i had to go via the mm. Make of that what you will.

Nope, i ain't selling. But looking at the chart, they'll probably consolidate before there is any rise. Not worth me trading in and out.

75p per minute

The price is back to 75p now, so it was either a test or something they do during peak times

What was the previous cost of a phone call?
topgunns

Interesting - the price of a phone call on the internet sites has been increased to £1 per minute over the weekend

They still seem to be getting a lot of calls, despite the price increase

It stands to reason that if they are able to even contemplate increasing the price, even if only at the weekend, then that is another very good sign
