09/6/2009 19:59 | Two key points : *Our UK revenues were substantially from our seven Sky channels, with significant additional revenues in the fourth quarter from various Freeview channels and other media exploitation, which accounts for the strong second-half performance. *The group was profitable in the first quarter of 2009. COMMENT : more freeview airtime was added in March and May 2009. So likely to see increased revenue ! *CAH posted a profit both in March and April 2009 and we hope that it will trade profitably from now on. COMMENT : no mention of the great "exclusive" deal for IPL live cricket content on mobile in April 2009 ! As afar as ofcom is concerned, it seems that Cellcast are towing the line. It would be unfair to cancel "clean" chat channels and yet keep other call-in channels open. I believe Cellcast recently sacked one call-girl for naughty behaviour. Im glad I have kept the faith and continued to accumulate in recent times. I will continue to add at these silly prices. RV | recto verso
09/6/2009 10:58 | The results are generally qutie good. £325k EBITDA profit in H2, Cellcast Asia trading profitably, and reduced funding pressure are the highlights. On the downside is margin contraction in Q1 2010 and continued uncertainty over Ofcom position - no bad news yet, but until we get the verdict, CLTV will not be highly rated. Opportunities are, as they noted, to expand offerings across even more "channels" whether online or TV to maximise revenue per production cost, and hence increase gross margin. To be fair to management they have delivered on cost savngs and continue to innovate new products. I'd be happy to see some kind of profit, no matter how small, at PBT level in 2010 to confirm recovery. | metaphysicalman
09/6/2009 09:12 | Well, i'm glad to say, if you see my post number 1958 which was posted before the result were released, what i had hoped for is being born out. All the good signs i was seeing for months and months have been realised in the figures released today. Whos a clever boy then. It is very good progress that Cellcast are managing to make a profit in these unprecedented economic times when 'money is tight'. Forget the ofcom decision, they haven't done anything in a year, all the fuss over phone-in-participati Cellcast just need to continue trading profitability, which they are confident they can do from the statements given. The management are understating and over-delivering, which is the right approach. When the economy begins it's next upturn Cellcast will benefit. There is no reason why they can't make a £1m net profit per annum. Once extra bonus of good news is buried in the results: "Cellcast Asia Holdings posted a profit both in March and April 2009 and we hope that it will trade profitably from now on." The Cellcast Asia Holding warrents the current market cap valuation alone, not to mention the now profitable UK business. And the current market cap is still a lowly £1.1m... so still huge upside. | ldmachin
09/6/2009 08:07 | Profitable first quarter 2009! | greedfear
09/6/2009 08:00 | Very good. Second half 300k profitable on EBITDA level. Cellcast Asia turning positive sounds good. | greedfear
09/6/2009 07:47 | 300K profit overall, so first real profit they ever had, so share price will re-rate accordingly. | tivoliworldgaming

27/5/2009 20:41 | Progress in INDIA....(learning from Cellcast UK past-mistakes ?) Looks like Cellcast India have cquired rights to "IPL Mobile Content" for live updates, commentary, scores of matches, trivia and mobile based contests, including news, from the Indian Premier League (cricket). Quote..."Cellcast has packaged IPL mobile content for various mobile operators and will offer subscription packs of Rs 49.00 per month and Rs 99.00 for the entire tournament, a company statement said." Examples of Cellcast's mobile to tv format's : As we all know, cricket is massive in India. Furthermore, Cellcast must be well-respected and have some influential management to win these rights. Great news. RV | recto verso
26/5/2009 15:46 | 100K sold for 1.45p and 50K sold for 1.45p. The price is still up 16% on just as many sells as buys, so looks like the market thinks the pending Ofcom decision is going to be positive. | tivoliworldgaming
26/5/2009 10:11 | Why the sudden interest and PI's paying full price? | ucretin

22/5/2009 11:43 | News is the only thing that matters. The company is worthless unless proven otherwise. That's the gamble we are all taking. | topgunns
22/5/2009 10:12 | Full offer paid for only 25k? | ucretin
22/5/2009 10:09 | Chart is a lot more bullish today, now that the profit taking from the recent rise is finally over. On a charterist point of view, 3p is easily achievable, and Cellcast is now rising on almost every purchase. The markets makers have finally been caught short here, and now Cellcast is very hard to get hold of. This is the very last chance to get hold of any decent volume for sub 2p, IMHO. | tivoliworldgaming
21/5/2009 09:58 | Recto, we can only hope. I know we always say this but on the next announcement, this either goes to zero or ten. | topgunns |
