26/3/2009 16:29 | I can't imagine that the MMs can cover that 500k shares buy order (approx 0.7% of the company) at present... i don't believe they have that stock to hand. We've had no selling as the MMs raised the bid to 0.6p today, so i'd imagine they'd have to keep raising the bid over the coming days until they get some sells to fill the 500k order... ... so don't sell... force them to raise the bid price to over a 1p and make a loss on the 500k order who was made to pay 0.9p. | ldmachin
26/3/2009 15:09 | What the fudge is going on here. Chart just turned a bit more bullish. If we break 1p, there must be something going on. | topgunns
26/3/2009 15:09 | Well, if the ofcom news is good and current trading turns out to be in-line with what we are led to expect, that 500k buy could look like a very shrewd move. You could probably buy 3% of the company for around £25-30k, which, for a company that 'should' be making £1m pa is amazing. Even more so, if the Cellcast Asia funding comes through. First things first, though, let's get this ofcom decision... | the analyst
26/3/2009 12:46 | I know that Cellcast have had a recent meeting with Ofcom (within the last week). Let's hope we are updated with good news on this front, as well as a good trading update for 2008 and the Q1 of 2009. | ldmachin
26/3/2009 12:27 | Aye somethings up, limits 25k buy and 500k or more to sell. | lyonst5
26/3/2009 12:22 | lyonst5, That's nearly 0.7% of the company bought in a single trade... and they've had to pay well over the asking price and so they should too! It's been difficult enough to get buy anything over 25k chuncks off the MMs at the full asking price over the past few months. | ldmachin
26/3/2009 12:03 | Hello,hello 500k at 0.9p trade, somebody had a whiff of news ? | lyonst5
21/3/2009 13:28 | Nice research, LDM, have put those sites into the header It's good to see the new channel, although, it's a real shame that it only starts at 1am. As far as I am aware, the vast majority of the revenue used to be made between 11pm and 1am on the old channel. With all of these new sites being added, it's starting to look like they are building a business that could be sold on to one of the big US adult networks. I'm sure they are always looking for new pre-made content where they can utilise their marketing expertise to make them highly profitable. The UK-slant may well be highly desirable. Meanwhile, no news still on ofcom or on Cellcast Asia. Results must be released by end of June, so there is still plenty of time, but I really hope they can get all their ducks in a row before that announcement and give investors a clear, transparent overview of where the company is and where they are going. Plus, clarification of the mystery companies and ownership of assets | the analyst
19/3/2009 19:36 | Good news, although i would guess this "arrangement" with Channel 5 has been in the making for more than a few months. Hopefully Cellcast will update us soon. Also hope Channel 5 licence the sumo.tv concept. In the right hands, it could work extremely well (i.e. asking viewers to send in "themed" videos for particular "themed" weekly shows, like travel/ holiday shows, for example). | recto verso
19/3/2009 18:50 | Partyland starting broadcasting on Freeview this morning (from 1am)... and the new website is up and running too: Looking good, nice logo. Pretty fast turn around seeing as Channel 46 only finished on the 17th... looks a lot slicker and more professional than channel 46 too... looking forward to seeing it grow. | ldmachin
15/3/2009 12:06 | That latest news is that Channel 50 will start broadcasting sometime this week which is good news as it comes as Smile TV 2 (Channel 47) finishes. Remember the output quality for this new channel will be the same high quality as the regular channels you see on freeview and not the low-bandwidth output that Smile TV 2 was. The big question now is, what's the relationship between the new license holder for Channel 50, "Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited" and Cellcast. Is it going to be revenues sharing? If so, what cash/marketing are Channel 5 pumping into this venture? and what output will be shown during the daytime and evening hours...? The website has now been updated confirming that the channel will be on channel 50: | ldmachin
15/3/2009 11:54 | SHUT UP. NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU PAIR. GET A ROOM | topgunns
15/3/2009 00:00 | LDM Not long now before that dreaded RNS. Ummm.........400k at 4.5p will really hurt, won't it? I hope you will have the decency to apologise to your master when the inevitable happens. I might even feel sorry for you. | 21st century media company
14/3/2009 21:56 | LDM I'm afriad you really are about to get what you deserve in this share. Both as an investor and also a man, the sorry, unemployed anorak from Hull that you are. This year, I expect CTLV to delist, then be placed into administration. I can see it, others can see it, the market can see it, you're the only one that can't. Well I've some advice for you chum, take off those blinkers before it too late to save what little remains of your sorry ISA savings. The best shareholder can hope for is share consoldation, then huge placement. This may leave you with 10% if you're lucky. You can only take the horse to the water, but you can't make it drink | 21st century media company
14/3/2009 21:48 | LDM Get real fool. We are heading into the most serious recession EVER!!! If Headstart decide any further loans is too risky, then they won't lend it. In business, contracts are signed & BROKEN many times.........obviou | 21st century media company |
