If they have been kicked off freeview for good, then this just looks to be yet another miserable failure. Just another example of the seemingly endless tale of CLTV's "bad luck" stories.

Awful

Yes, they may have made some temporary profit from it, but that is not what investors are looking for - they are looking for the company to be building sustainable organic growth.

Of course, this latest failure may well have been out of their hands, but it is still yet another in a series of very bad news coming from their business ventures

Is the end result from the Freeview venture simply that the Directors get paid a little longer before the company goes into administration?

21st Century Media Company,

Didn't you say Cellcast would need to raise cash before the end of 2008 too.

You've resorted to absolute lies in your desperate posts. Looks like WLW tipped you over the edge.

You are have no credibility and are as unliked on these BBs as you are in real life.

Extra bandwidth on Freeview is very expensive.

No doubt, this alone would require another discounted placement, rights issue.

Best let it die a death and pray.

Latest info direct from the horses mouth:

Channel 46 runs out on March 17th.
Cellcast are actively trying to secure more bandwidth where they can, which is not easy.
No real news from Ofcom. Cellcast are meeting them in 2 weeks.

My thoughts:

- So, Freeview Channel 46 has run it's 9 month contract course. I don't think it is Cellcast's choice that Channel 46 is not continuing, maybe Ofcom are making it prohibitive, via costs, to continue using it or something (or maybe Cellcast got a bargain with the initial 9 month deal). As it states above, Cellcast are actively looking for more bandwidth for their content... so they are still looking to grow their output wherever possible... and as "Recto Verso" post confirms my thoughts, i.e. the Freeview Channel 46 has done very well profits wise in it's time.

Some of the shows that are on Freeview 46 are still continuing on Sky. i.e. "The Chat", which will be shown for 12 hours daily on Sky channel 910.

Looks like Ofcom are in no rush for change, the longer they keep their snouts out, the better for Cellcast. Even if Ofcom to impose changes, Cellcast will be given a decent amount of time (6 months to 1 year i would say) to implement any changes.

The next update from the company will be a decisive one. If the 'signs' match reality, then i think there should be some nice surprises.

400k CLTV at 4.5p.

lol

No wonder you spend 24/7 surfing the CLTV XXX websites.

It must hurt knowing you've gambled away 6 years ISA money?

Let this be a lesson to you LDM..........if you keep gambling your dubious earned on AIM, you will go bankrupt, if you're not already.

Perhaps now you will learn some humility?

Sorry to hear to hear you are still invested in this dog, LDM. I remember you posting before about having a lot of shares, back when the share price was much higher. 400k at 4.5p must hurt and I really feel sorry for you.

In the meantime, try to relax like this dog is

H D Shoring,

Yeh, the amounts being offered are pitiful aren't they. Like i said before anymore than £500-£600 worth and the MMs want full price or premium to the offer price...

... they are doing that and keeping a wide spread to ditract from trading, they haven't got stock (65%+ is out of public hands too). They don't know which way to take this yet, so they are making trading prohibitive.

If you did want exposure to CLTV, then igindex allows you to spreadbet them. Don't know if that's worth doing with the large spread, but the option is there.

21st Century Media Company,

Very wide of the mark as usual. Zero credibility in 2008, and negative credibility in 2009.

No ramp here, I for one hope no one buys CLTV at present, as has been seen, as soon as anyone spends more than a pitiful £600 or so quid buying CLTV shares the MM's have to shift the price up immediately cause they can't fill the demand... the shares are held tightly...

1, Unable to fill very small order amounts.
2, Spread wider than a thai girls legs when you wave a £5 note in her face (no offense to the missus).
3, Creating a prohibitive trading strategy.

... the usual MM games. If management confirm that things are going as well as they appear to be, then the current market cap of approx £400k is laughable... time will tell, can't be long now...

yes that's all well & good if it amuses you (little things amuse small minds) but you rather unskillfully avoided the question.

But not enough to make you buy is it?

Seems like you don't believe your own bull.

Looks like a desperate ramp to me - desperately trying to recover your 4.5p average price on those 400k CLTV shares you own.

It's gone...........your hard earned has gone..........just accept it...........what will you tell your boyfriend?
