15/7/2020 17:16 | CE revenue, that depends on our enemy Covid and oil prices. Going to be an interesting H2 and hopefully the article below is accurate that they reduce cuts slowly and hold in until December with those not playing, Kstan being one of those not meting cut quotas, will have to going forward. That's probably another question for AGM, will Kstan oversupply affect Caspians ability to sell it's full production and does it affect the prices achieved. The Caspian oil is light and high quality but the sour heavier grades like Urals have greater demand at the refineries and pricing has increased. Sentiment can turn rapidly and we're currently on our arzes so hopefully and let's hope that the Yazz single becomes the Casper anthem👍 Down to our Clive to deliver performance commensurate to the special salary he's taking. | xclusive2
15/7/2020 16:41 | Casp Explorer has generated $30m pa in the past, wonder if it will happen in 2021 when Brent is back at $60pb? Funnily enough a deep flowing 1500bpd generates the same amount of income pa. Would be great if we had a Deep and CE income producing at this level next year! | the new norm
15/7/2020 13:06 | Rutter, As i've voiced many times and given the feedback to the Directors. That's one thing the Yahoo note was spot on with, why are the Directors remunerated normally when performance is shoite. If we had institutional shareholders, they'd have called for heads to roll some time ago AND stopped sweetheart deals. I've sent a number of questions in for AGM purposes but not the Director renumeration, maybe that's one for you Rutter. Why don't they take up their options too, Clive has a chunk expiring at 4p, surely an absolute bargain for a large parcel😊 They need to get on with the job at hand ie to deliver production now NOT add assets to build m/cap. Adding other acreage and not fulfilling licence obligations is crazy, as is the boat without contracts. I can build a long list of negatives on our Casper and there are many but i stay invested to see out the deeps to conclusion. I've loaded up at this level as i see it as undervalued and an opportunity to drop the average through the floor but we'll know soon enough whether that was misguided or sensible. Interesting to see the trades over last 10 days, very heavy on the BUY side with minimal sells yet the share price has effectively stalled ? Is there a seller in the background and a delayed trade beckoning ? June prod numbers are due now or are they waiting to issue as much news in one RNS pre the AGM ? | xclusive2
15/7/2020 12:43 | I don't buy this fee " sacrifice" termAs there's sweet FA progress being made in the shallow drills or deeps. Whether for genuine vivid reasons or otherwise Why the hell should directors draw their full salaries Pity that salaries aren't related to success or progress made The market is showing appropriate interest in Casp Ignoring it | rutter
15/7/2020 11:49 | Hopefully they will get the Yelemens approval soon and that will pay the $100k per month bill for the CE. | dhb368
15/7/2020 10:17 | Rutter, The barge was a shocking decision at a time whereby the company were not rolling in cash. The Pandemic has really caught them out and the additional $1.2m is one cost but there will obviously be other costs for maintenance and upkeep. Will it get contracts ? possibly more so now as Covid has put a tin hat on deep exploration. It was rented out as we know to KMG and i suspect there will be demand in 2021 onwards, hopefully !. Et al, Covid still a big problem if you are keeping updated. The initial tight lockdown transitioned to a complete relaxation of rules and hey ho, disaster. Toqayev and his government are under pressure but unfortunately, a bit like Russia, whatever Toqayev says, goes and his cabinet will go before him. Disastrous leadership in Kstan is hurting the economy but the State have no choice but to support businesses which is happening. They need to kick start their economy and they need all companies generating revenue, paying taxes etc, hopefully that helps Caspian as maybe less authoritarian behaviour going forward. Oil holding at the current level until Opec+ decision known today. Much bigger draw on inventories this week than forecast but as always, all about supply/demand, politics, geopolitics, yada yada. | xclusive2
15/7/2020 10:01 | Obviously great news on the boat! | davidblack
15/7/2020 09:19 | Presumably Casp have not been able to do anything up to now with the drilling ship because of lack of licenses Would like to see what happens now that they've been granted full steam ahead | rutter

14/7/2020 18:10 | Yep Rutter. I disagree. He is paid half of what CC gets and probably adds move value than. It also seems that he has sacrificed significantly more of his salary than anyone else. It is a guess but I think that is 4 months compensation @ 100%. It could be 6 months at 66% I suppose. Just worked out why the RNSs have been mostly fiction with little fact. We have James Joyce working on them. | dhb368
14/7/2020 17:46 | Excuse my ignorance but what did KO do to earn his circa 120,000 quid. And for what period of time is that for ? 1 month, 2 months or 3 months Although he has a massive e stake in the company he should be regarded as an investor the same as us. I'm sure most of you will disagree So now we can expect period of him offloading Great news to release at the end of the day CC | rutter
14/7/2020 16:35 | Unusual to see a report on CASP doing the rounds. Be aware this is not a friendly one ' NOT suitable for those of a nervous disposition ' ' Make of it what you will. | togglebrush
14/7/2020 16:00 | CC knows who's selling. Simple question to him. When does he think we will see shareholder value As everyone here is a winner except the small pi | rutter
14/7/2020 15:49 | DHB, Unfortunately not. Had a few successful dabbles with the FTSE 100/250, more luck than judgement. Kids are cursing me for RDSB but i've got them to add more @ £11.50 ish and one in the money, one underwater ! That's a definite way to cause friction in a lockdown household, doh. Didn't realise a Director had to inform the market of transactions below the notifiable level of 3% and only if they dropped through a % threshold obeove the 3% ? Our Satyl didn't exactly play the game with his offloading !! Give them the benefit of the doubt. Maxim, Yep, the rogue seller. The selling has gone, finished or in cement boots ? Company will have expected PI interest but unfortunately most are in already and those with spare dough or on the sidelines are probably waiting for the news to dictate the next direction, hopefully violently northwards. | xclusive2
14/7/2020 15:15 | Sadly I think at least 3 p of the recent move from 10 p to 3 p has been caused by selling pressure . Had that overhang not have been there the shares I think would be significantly higher.Another lack of mitigation planning by the company. Anyway I think with some good production figures and further progress on the shallows we could see a reasonable rally. I am not going to mention what a deep success could do..... | maxim1999
14/7/2020 15:04 | Reading your post I thought that you were in TILS Smarty. :( As you say, hindsight! I topped up CASP +32% and not VDTK +520% My expectations for CASP have been worn down over the weeks and months. Looking for a not unreasonable x3 over next 18 months for MJF and not expecting anything for the deeps at all. If they can get a break getting them to flow then we are a different business. I would love to see CASP come good and reward long termers but don't expect it anytime soon. | dhb368
14/7/2020 13:44 | Yep, been keeping a close eye on TILS but didn't dabble, hindsight a luverly thing. Bad experiences on small Pharma, start up companies in the past, rode the pump and the dump...lol Re MJF, we know that all the sweet spot wells will produce handsomely and those further out to the field extremities will produce less. 300 bopd average gives us 7200 bopd and that is probably a fair assessment if you look at progress to date. You've made your assessment on value and no future value is being factored in at this point. Prod nos, 151 @ 300 BOPD, Yelemes production licence award, 152 spud and deep progress updates are all expected July/Aug. We have a fair chance that most of what's imminent is likely to be positive BUT it's the deep gusher that really changes the game for all invested. | xclusive2
14/7/2020 12:52 | I would take solid production for June with no surprises and decent progress on 151. A bonus, for 4p, would be 151 completion and a start on 152. | dhb368
14/7/2020 12:47 | Smarty, all PDMRs must notify within 3 days any and ALL transactions. Yep, sold my TILS too soon :( Always liked the company for a long term hold but felt that the rampers had pushed it too far and sold in the 80s. To be fair the rampers would have been long gone and the share price likely sub 50 if it were not for their lucky timing re StemPrintER. As it is the assumptions being used to support the StemPrintER valuations are wishful IMHO, considering that there is already an established product in the market with $blns of marketing power behind it. A significant pointer for me was that the company knew these results and was happy to raise at $0.50, diluting their own holdings, rather than wait a couple of months. Sorry for going OT. | dhb368
14/7/2020 12:26 | DHB, Re Clive and selling, don't believe he has any requirement to notify the market as he's below the 3% threshold. Not 100% on that. Let's hope that they all hold stock, as you say, selling sends a real poor message whereas holding sends the one we want. Oil holding up and market factoring in 2m bpd increase in production from Opec+ so expected levels down to 7.7mbpd. Some players are holding in their end of the bargain but some aren't so it will be interesting how it plays out but currently the bullish sentiment still in charge. Demand is picking up but our Donald is doing his best to slow it down. Need a good set of prod numbers for June, Yelemes agreed, 151 result @ 300bopd+ and one deep surprise, a bit of Eastern promise ! TILS has joined NCYT,GDR and ODX on the extreme multi-bag list. All the others have been dumped but TILS has more about it. | xclusive2
14/7/2020 11:44 | I expect that he will sell into the next 1500bopd RNS, before he issues the Ooops it stopped after 20 minutes RNS a few days later. Joking aside it is very important for CC to hold onto his shares. Any sales will trigger a stampede. | dhb368
14/7/2020 11:35 | Hallow, he's preoccupied with other things, he's got a load of stock to sell....lol | xclusive2 |
