I downloaded this sheet for some background information.

file:///C:/Users//Downloads/Lifetime-Allowance-Factsheet-1%20(35).pdf

Both areas are covered.

Apologies it's from Hargreaves Lansdown re the Lifetime Allowance

Not sure that I understand the question Hallow but I have long stopped worrying about casp profits causing me a tax problem.

2 trades today Clive, are you gearing up to give a huge announcement this week, this month, this year, this century, this millennium.

60% of my CASP shares are in a pension fund, can anyone give advice if I need to protect my pension fund or even re base it to a different year.

Can it be done after the event has happened.

Opec+ meeting tomorrow and Wed to agree the next move re oil production. Cut by c 10m to date so probably there will be a loosening, hopefully not too much. It's chicken and egg, reduce cuts marginally to offset demand increase and oil stays at this level, too much and inventory builds and oil price recedes. One good thing, the longer it stays at this level, the more pressure on the marginal/loss making players and further supply destruction. Always a thin line but Caspian can make money at these levels and those who can't, shouldn't be in business.

Tearing ahead today....lol

We need the right news to strengthen the fundamentals. We know what MJF will become if we base it on 7k bopd and that makes us hugely undervalued at this level. We're in the middle of the CV 19 crisis but even if you based the next 29 years on an average price of $50, it's very pretty. Everything else is valued at Zero unfortunately and a lot of that is down to trust which obviously affects sentiment.

They will continue with MJF and hopefully these new wells at 500 bopd will contribute to the total number and minimal depletion rates ie the numbers are going ip and 1300 & 1000 = 2300 not 1700.

They have 4 deeps drilled, A5, we'll know this month what's going on and if the acid is on site, should have update there too. Only thing stopping progress will be cash flow or CV19 but we'll know soon enough.

We are living in exciting times.

Market is very well bid at 3.31p for 1m before the close.

Clive's not short of a few bob as he has more than 1 director appointment as we can all see. May have a few vices though, we all have !

I'm expecting positive prod numbers for June and hoping for the Yelemes licence upgrade and 151 to all happen in July.

K,

There you go again, percy pig with in his Spitfire just went past.

Let's hope for 5 straight blue days next week. I still believe oil sees $50+ by end of this qtr.

I would hope that CC will hold his stock. Surely he can pay the bills with $18k/mth!

It says something when the non exec holds stock but not the chief exec.

As for next week, 500bopd from 151 will do for me.
Not expecting any deep news and also not expecting great sales $ in the Q2 numbers given we had a $10 month! Hopefully these will be out next week, but given that this is a new process they might leave it a little longer.

Is that 3 blue days in a row?

i'm hoping, more like wishful thinking actually, that they have managed to keep the crew(s) that got quarantined on site, busy with a5 and we get a very happy surprise with it gushing. any day now? not likely, but never say never eh?

I think FOMO has kept many here, me included. Forget the deeps, the untapped value in MJF is x4 from here. It is so frustrating that they took their eyes away from MJF whilst chasing the game changing deeps.

In hindsight it is easy to say MJF should have been first, but had the deeps come in we would not care one bit.

Market looking decent today with a buy having just gone through above the offer.

DHB,

2018 - $539 - Clive $336 - 62%
2019 - $754 - Clive $425 - 56%

Re diluting shareholders, yep i'd agree to a point as opposed to going to the market BUT the barge was a mickey take, knowing there were no contracts and only liabilities at a time when there was a cash crisis. Production success and revenue up, that's the mandate, not collecting assets and dumping liabilities. No other words apart from a shocker. If they'd have acquired the boat with prospects, yep i could buy that but not when it's a $1.2m pa white elephant currently plus depreciation and other costs. Maybe it comes good as companies don't want to explore offshore or can't @ $40 oil, maybe the barge comes into play.

Drills ? are they working, don't know. 3AB, i can accept, that as i believe it may come off if they manage to succeed with the first well and prove their belief that there's oil at deeper horizons than Total's Dunga as opposed to Total Dung !

Market is very well bid and you can't by much stock. Don't want to tempt fate but Mr Seller could dump over a million in one parcel now so he/she/they are either finished or if Mr K, probably admonished or asked politely to desist, AK47 as an added incentive.

If seller desists, it's not going to take much to push this on but it looks like the PIs have enough stock or maybe had enough.

Next move is north aided by 151 progress update, solid prod numbers for June, Yelemes upgrade and maybe something else ? we can but hope. Casper always has the potential to turn on a sixpence, those who've departed will still be watching as they'll all have the FOMO syndrome.

TT.

With ref to Spangles 15903 post I would be surprised if they took a larger amount or stock to cover risk. The one thing that CASP have been good at is being fair to holders when issuing stock for assets etc. with regard to issue price.

looking at the rns of 8th July

In order to support and preserve cash for the Company's drilling operations the Company's directors have agreed to subscribe for a total of 8,938,570 ordinary shares in the Company ("Consideration Shares") in lieu of a combination of accumulated pay, deferred pay and expenses.

The board has now agreed to further short term salary / fee reductions

anyone know what salary they were on, what they are on now, what period the £280k's worth of shares they have 'bought' is for?

There may be some truth in telling Mr K to stop selling. Or at least he's intentionally keeping his finger off the press button

To add, the stock is the most liquid it's been for some time. Bidding for 1.2m @ 3.035. Probably told Mr K to sling his hook so that they can get the price up and flog their shares at a profit....lol. Probably KO in the market for a load, Mr K with slapped wrists and they'll drip the overhang in over the coming weeks. Hoping that is a very cynical view and the increased demand for stock is justified with some really positive news 😊

Tim Hill.....lol, must be in the adjacent Field with the heffers, that's nt the talent btw.

He's sacrificed salary for stock and he and his fellow directors are going to hold onto them until a couple of deeps producing commercially 👍👍👍

Daydream Believer believes that they've put them in their new ISA accounts to limit the tax implications on income and the inevitable CGT issue...lol

Exciting times, not for your bored shareholders it isn't,

What is Tim Hill doing in the Caspian Sunrise office right now, apart from,

1, Throwing darts at the office dartboard.

2, Eyeing up the talent in the office next door.

3, Sitting with his head in his hands saying 'I'm so bloody bored'
