Am I correct in thinking that 151 is the only work in progress

That depends Rutter but i certailnly don't want that option at this level, not after 13 years !

Chesapeake filed for Chapter 11, loads more shale drillers will be doing the same with a view of dumping debt obligations but there's always a trail of disaster to their supply chain. Shale can't play @ levels below $70 without continued funding, that will stop if Trump doesn't get in. Shale players are producing more from fraccing as the latest tech allows them to extend fraccing drill lengths getting more productivity from less wells. Quite simply, they all need to slash costs.

Production cuts, rig count reducing, if this continues, pricing has to go north and Caspers 70k pm in a couple of months will be healthy revenue.

Excuse my ignorance here X2. But even if we are ' taken private' as you suggest is a possibility, won't our share have to be bought at a premium

Funny ole market. I just added a few more and the bid ask quite healthy. Largely sells today so somebody picking up a few rather than MM's stocking up.

Oil price bouncing around and Covid is the key driver to next leg up or down providing all the other variables stay constant which is probably unlikely. Cuts have to continue and proving that happens, the other part of the equation ie demand will take control providing CV doesn't spoil the party.

Caspian aren't going under although some PIs probably sold when reading the statement in the Finals. Some operational positivity this month will help sentiment, 151 being drilled, 152 spud date, who knows A5 link repaired and continuing to remove billions of barrels of lost drilling fluids, that's what i feels like. Yelemes production upgrade to 300 bopd to get production to 2000 capacity as stated and most oil at international prices, add 151 and 152 minimum this year, i'm hoping for more. The acid, will it work on the other wells ? who knows but let's get A5 unblocked and flown the back gold.

Ignore the knockers and look at the facts but also see the risks of being taken private or asset dilution at this level, i personally don't believe that happens.

Next 2 months will see fundamentals strengthening just from shallows and Yelemes so production increasing to 2.3-2.5k bopd with m/cap of £65m and 16 more wells to go ? Make up your own mind, is it really a gift horse or a crock ? i'm on the horse👍

Your broker(s) should've sent you a communication ' Your Vote Counts' but not on the respect of Caspian as it's a whitewash.Should be able to go to your broker site, voting mailbox and orf you go.

I think it depends on your broker and how they hold your shares. I have never received anything from CASP.

No point in sat on billions of barrels when they cant get them to flow. Or will they magically flow once full license has been granted so they can sell it at international prices... what a world what a world what a world.

Clive how about telling us this week what is happening with Caspian Sunrise, providing us long suffering shareholders with a definitive explanation of how much oil you are sitting on, or the high share price takeover you are demanding trying to put in everything in place.

What is Tim Field doing in your office apart from sweeping the floors and playing darts.

Exciting times.......................not for your shareholders it isn't.

I figured that Jonny would have sold down by now, he has been sceptical for a while. My comment was not meant as a dig at him.

I question some of the decisions re drilling, but I am no expert and we have very few facts but even without the benefit of hindsight I would have preferred to prioritize the monetization of MJF over chasing the deeps H2 last year. Especially as payback @ 500bopd was 3-4 months at the time.

BUT I am fully confident that they will manage CASP through the CV19/POO issues and finish 2020 strongly, unless the Kaz authorities are inflexible and screw them.

As always for me the issue with CASP is not the management of the company but the communications.

Withhold price of oil sold from an RNS, fine BUT say why.
Only issue quarterly updates, fine BUT notify the market that is what you are doing instead of allowing the silence to destroy sentiment.

Covid wave 2, I am worried that the gun toting far right will stop the USA ever get past wave 1?

But don't forget, Jonny holds millions. Caspian have had a cash flow issue caused by Covid. That crisis is now over as oil is back above $40 and 151 can be drilled this month. A5 broken pipe can be fixed too, there's no reason why that can't move forward too. The big threat continues to be Covid and unfortunately our Trump's management of the crisis isn't helping. We need US consumers back in their gas guzzlers for oil to continue its toad north. China maybe back manufacturing but no good if the demand isn't there and manufacturing and energy requirement will decline. The cuts have to continue and the draw on inventories should see demand outstrips supply but we need the USA back in the game.Caspian at £60m m/cap ? MJF, barge, rigs, 3AB ? doesn't make sense to me and zip in for the deeps. Price is wrong and I believe we see that change considerably in Q3 to the upside and only way it doesn't is if Covid wave 2 happens, hopefully not !

How brave of them. An AGM with no q&a

Edit:
At least we save the costs of a venue and pork pies!

Apparently we will get written answers to relevant questions.

smarty, its not a prediction, just a feeling, given their ongoing non-performance and little likelihood of anything significant happening anytime soon given the cash and covid constraints. even the pace of mjf infill is painfully slow. the one big possibilty we had for this update was that they were in fact progressing a5 but now we know it was all hot air as usual. maybe we get a nice surprise if the acid gets to site and works on a6 etc.

Casp 10th on the faller's list. Just when we thought we would be going up we are plummeting down the other way.

This is fantastic news.
