Maybe news this week but i suspect that it will be w/c 22/6.

Finals headlines -;

Revenue up
Costs up
Loss widened narrowly

Highlights
Prod licence agreement
MJF successes
Low cost of operation

Lowlights
MJF - no of wells drilled
Deeps - still not flowing

We all want to see the first deep success but i'm not expecting any real progress at this stage. Could be wrong, hoping to be wrong but i suspect that we may get excuses ie acid late to site, Covid etc.

I believe the Finals will read well and they'll spin the 6 months ytd 2020 as very positive especially when dealing with CV 19.

They'll highlight the journey to profitability as production increases beyond 60k bopm and the new MJF work program will accelerate when cash available to do so. The deeps will be work in progress but the management team believe that A5 will be the first well success @ 1500 bopd. If they get A5 over the line, this becomes a different proposition and 3 more deeps needing remedial work to deliver similar results.

They also talk about the barge and it's future purpose, maybe that becomes more of an attractive asset now that deep offshore is a no no.

3AB, probably not the best time to flog it so maybe a date to spud a well.

As Roy, would say, more jam tomorrow but even without a deep success, we all make money from these levels just from MJF providing they don't announce more asset deals.

Hoping i'm way off base with the deeps and they announce that A5 is flowing, that's oil not other substances ! If we were that fortunate, may bags to be had !

Good to see crude price fighting back. Opec/Opec+ and the rest all need oil prices way north of here and selling at a loss just to raise short term cash is a disaster strategy hence the cuts. Reading about Oman, Bahrain, Venezuela etc, all needing $80+, Saudi even higher, the low prices can't be sustained as country credit ratings will be slaughtered, more loans, more interest, disastrous economic consequences.

Supply is being slaughtered, rig numbers falling off a cliff, shut ins, oil services and support services slashed, nobody wins with cheap oil. Wouldn't surprise me to see oil go through $60 in Q3 and the only thing that stops that is CV19 wave 2.

Caspian share price will go north this year unless the Kazakhs have another agenda. KO and gang get properly rich when the share price appreciates and hopefully there are no more asset games before that eventually happens. If that were to be the strategy, time to leave the party.

Probably not a great time to be adding anything, but added some this morning.

Hallow, Tim Field is non exec so he may well be doing absolutely nothing at the moment. I cannot imagine that we are looking at anything acquisition wise apart from completing the CE or extending the deadline.

Poor day for stocks, Dow down 6.9% and oil 8.8%. Oil will break north again as the big players will hold in cuts and much that demand recovery will be slow, the price will go north.

Well done to Clive for not releasing news, leave it til w/c 22 or 29/6.

I'm sure that if you have a major shareholding in any company, he or she will have a nod or wink from the board on an almost daily basis as to how things are progressing The fact that we have a major shareholder selling ( imo) tells me that there's no significant positive news on the way Hoping to be wrong of course . Btw I have never sold a CASP share and will continue to hang on until our fortunes change . Now four weeks since an update Covid can't be an excuse for slow work rate. That acid must have been on site for weeks. This company need to consider informing non Kazakh speakers as well. Grrrrrrr

From a fib.perspective $36 looks a good support, so another 7% drop on the cards

You wanna stop reading those Candlesticks Max, stick to Origami !

Volumes are so low i suspect it's PIs selling that were expecting a kick on with better prod numbers and maybe an ops update. Kazakhs forward selling stock to realise some cash ? maybe but i don't buy that.

News with the Finals going to have to wait a week or so.

Or even worse , trapped in the middle which is where we are now. Stuck in limbo with the company not going bust on the downside allowing us to move on. Or never really delivering on the upside giving us enough profit to justify the economic cost of holding the shares and the higher price in the time we have spent hoping the next RNS will finally deliver a deep.I don't know who the bigger fool is me for hoping cc can succeed or him for not being able to ever do so.
