up 22.22% in Canada.....the last time the graph shot off at this angle....it went to $.52CAD....maybe a news leak?

I did some quick research on Caspian Holdings...who are also drilling for oil in Kazakhstan....all their producing wells are in the Triassic formation....at an average depth of about 400m....although the barrels of oil a day only amount to about 150, never the less..that`s 4500 barrels per month at $79 a barrel....that`s over a third of a million dolars per month/per well.

strange agm....no mention of proxy votes... electronic votes...etc...it looks as if a few majority shareholders carried the vote....and don`t want to upset the `status quo`...which implies that they must be happy with the prosects given by Ramsey and Summers.

The graph indicates the longest period of stabilty since March `08.....it looks as if every one is waiting for the next update.

I couldn`t help but notice that Arawak, the to be newly listed AIM/TSX company already operating in the region, have three producing wells averaging about 3000 bopd...and all from the Triassic Formation....whereas CEK have concentrated in the past on the Lower Permian, Middle Carboniferous and Mesozoic formation.....this time, with the Aransay 711 well........ they`re going for the Triassic.

other oilies believe this is still a good part of the world to invest in.....they`re also aiming at the Triassic Formation...which enhances the view that we might have better luck next time round.

Canada`s going North....looks as if we`re back in business....and trading at 20p....a nice tonic for the graph mda`s. .


the last time the TSX had three consecutive rising day share prices was back on June 2nd......just before it hit .5 CAD.........bodes well.


I expect this to be on the leader board tomorow.

today's news was a bit of a disappointment....but not the end of the world...we move onto the next drill...with news , hopefully, by the end of the month......sit tight. Let`s hope with was a learning curve for the company.

just a couple of points from one of the rns`...

the rns extract...
The location of the vertical wellbore
was chosen to primarily target the Upper
Permian and even though the well encountered reservoir quality sandstones in the Triassic,
according to mudlogs, it intersected the
potential Triassic reservoirs in a downdip position apparently falling below any entrapment of
hydrocarbons. The Upper Permian target was
interpreted to be sandstones trapped below the overhang of a salt wing, based on the presence
of strong seismic reflectors just below the
salt. However, upon reaching the interpreted depth of these seismic anomalies, no reservoir
quality rocks have been found to be present.


the questions that arise is simply.....
what is the company going to do with the `....encountered reservoir quality sandstones in the Triassic`....and SHELL, the Oil company, in their quest for oil, have found that Seismic Reflectors are 100% reliable regarding the presence of Hydro Carbon Indication........



We should have heard from them by now.........my bet is that they may try and do something with the Triassic...hence the delay?.....and will probably leave the results to the 24th......just a hunch.


PS...the graph is looking better ...with the TSX trading at the equivelant of 19.6p,at the close of friday night.. a 7% rise on the day. and 12% higher against the LSE price..will undoubtedly help the Bollinger Bands.....fingers crossed for the next update.
