EEL issued an rns... `no known reason for share movement`....five days later, today, confirms farm-in conclusion and is second top in leader board....don`t tell me that the market does not leak information.

before CEK drilled Bartygaryn 703...Ramsey stated that the well `may not be as large as`.....`but will still offer meaningful reserves`.....that was 10/08/07........since then the 3D seismic has recorded Hydro Carbon Indications and drilling operation has gone forward......by 13/05/08, the mood has changed....the `meaningful reserves` have now altered to `highly significant recoverable reserves`...to which the word `excited` was included. ....the bottom line is that their is a sense of anticipation coming through the news already in the public domain....not forgetting that `several new prosects` have since been identified. If Dask/Aral and CEK are to be pre occupied with the Baktygaryn region for most of this year...then farm-ins will have to complete the Kozdesay and Itisay programmes.....so as to maintain the 2year extension qualification.

htrocka - my guess, which isn't worth alot I'm afraid as I never seem to get it right with this share, is that there is some big farm-in news, but it's taking alot longer to tie up the details than they thought it would. The lack of well 703 news is praobly due down to operational probs.
These big jumps on the TSE seem to suggest that that there are some v positive rumours about.
Do you know William Ramsey or have his mobile number? Perhaps you should call him and ask what's going on.

yet another rns....that avoids the 703 issue that Ramsey, the CEO, had stated that he was `excited ` about...and have the `potential for highly significant recoverable reserves`?..but then again he also stated that drilling would probably take him up to the end of May..nevertheless, the fact that the company have made no refernce to 703,..yet..is news in itself.. I`m waiting in anticipation remembering Ramseys words that `703 `could be a company transforming well`...fingers crossed.


ps..I can`t see anything stopping this going up through the `golden cross`.....followed by the 703 drill report.....and it`s off.

If Ramsey comes up with the goods at 703....it should certainly surpass it`s 82p...its flotation price......If the price is sustained tonight in Canada...I wonder what excuse they give in response for the share movement?

Cleo.....it`s top of the TSX leader board.....they`re all pilling in...it`s +44%....news must be imminent. Ramsey did promise news by the end of the month....?...If this is sustained....it`ll go through the `golden cross` and `breakout` tommorow

`Caspian energy rises 5p on the back of successful rights issue`........ what a load of rhetorical rubbish....I must have read this about 20 times from various sources....which have since mysteriously vanished.....In truth, the price had gone from 14p at 8am....to 26.5p by about 9.30 am......then the rns came out and the price plummets to 19p.....yet the various news items claim that the 35% rise is the consequence of a successful rights issue.....ask your self....who`s going to pile into a company, with 1.7m shares traded, because of a successful dilution exercise in shares that have as yet not reached the trading floor ?..that`s totally illogical...but I suppose the company had to come out with some response to the share price movement......without giving details of... or reference to the 703 drilling operation.....just yet. I could accept an excuse of a 35% rise as a consequnce of the latest trading update....but not this.....a bit more here than meets the eye me thinks..

I was initially surprised that no ` Share Movement` rns was forthcoming, however,Exchanges on both side of the pond must have enquired as to reasons for non compliance and can only assume that such a statement would enfringe on price sensative info regarding the current drilling prosect of 703 ...and any info relating to the drill could exasserbate the situation. It would have been difficult for the company to state `....we see no known reason for....etc` when the 703 results are due , as promised by the company,....`by the end of the month`. Any reference to the share movement may have implicated references to the current state of play of 703. A denial of `known reasons for the share movement` would have sent out the wrong signal...... whereas the 703 drilling report is still in abeyance.. Today's rns implied that `all is well` and they`re going for the full programme. ...ps...it`s the first time since the initial Admission Document that Caspian Energy have made a specific reference to a gas project?...`Proceeds to fund Caspians Oil and Gas projects`.....(they have no gas project).....could one of the two perforations in the 703 drilling operation encountered a gas formation ?....
The good point today was that a lot of `t` traders closed positions. This company has still got `farm-in` news to come.....that have previously been reported as `well advanced`....I`m waiting and holding for the 703 drilling report.

The only new news is that (a) it was oversubscribed, and therefore (b) they have got all the cash they needed.

So funding uncertainty removed. Ergo, good news.

drewz...the farm in news is still in abeyance...and with Ramsey`s background I`m going for Lukoil...however the point of posting is that tomorrow a lot of radars will be activated.....watch this space.

ps...it was the October spike that got me interested in CEK....and I`ve been topping up ever since.
