Oh dear. More CEK bad luck. Where does this go now? Back to 25 cents I think, which is a pain in the neck since I really thought that I was finally, finally going to climb back to my break-even level at 81 cents. But I'm going to hold. The next target is at only 700m and will take only 15 days to drill, they think. So we might get some more news within a month.

Cleo...you`re suppose to be having a sleep for..... about a week?....the market will play with this share until news breaks.........45K of buys in the last couple of minutes on the TSX....that`s more than was traded on the LSE all day.....in the mean time...crude is currently trading at $137 a barrel.




their record breaking trading figures were based on an average crude price of about about $100 a barrel.....chill out.

....Iv`e been away today....but couldn`t help notice that all the small fry in Canada dumped today....with a couple of `big boys` buying in at the death.......bodes well.

on the 13th of May...we were told, although having had a mechanical failure with the drill being side tracked...nevertheless was at a depth of 1745m.
On the 4th of June we had the Share movement rns...that confirmed that the drill bit had moved on to a new depth of 2391m....ie, 646m over 23 days = a perforation rate of 28m per day. Although 2500 was only an approximate depth, nevertheless...with roughly 110m was left to drill on the 4th of June...@ 28m per day...that means that this Sunday they should be through.....FINGERS CROSSED.....( the next couple of weeks should be interesting....especially as the share price graph moves up through the `golden cross` this coming monday).........[a lot of `radars` are activated on golden crosses])

Caspian Incs; attribited the turn-a-round in it`s financial performance in the last quarter to the volititiy of the crude oil price......with `Morgan Stanley predicting $150 a barrel by this time next month`.













LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Caspian Energy Inc. said its first quarter to
end-March average production rate rose to 461 barrels of oil per day (bopd) from
181 bopd and average price per barrel shot to $74.98 from $26.86 due to the
impact of international oil markets.
The oil and gas exploration company operating in Kazakhstan swung to a net
profit of $1.57 million for the period compared with a loss of $1.38 million a
year ago.
Oil revenues before transportation costs for the quarter were $3.44 million
from $357,997 previously.

Canada likes it...up 2.2p on the day (night....and that`s after the DOW dropped 400 points).....I believe this will rise from here on in...in anticipation of the 703 drilling report.

It`s going to be a roller coaster of a week...but all the graph indicators looks positive...and the `golden cross` is inevitable....(ps...look at the above tsx graph before you press the URL below.)

I`m with you Cleo....a bit of volatility at the moment...but I expect the buyers to move in at the end of the days trading....however, get a good nights sleep...and leave these for about a week.

I was wrong about Selftrade. They had sent me a secure message but I didn't open it! They don't do paper docs, being an online company. Gutted. So Gutted I just stuffed the remainder of my ISA cash into this, payint well over the recent odds at 26.2p but I think the chance of hitting the jackpot makes it worth it. So, fingers really crossed now and roll on next week.

I did a bit of research on drilling through salt domes..a tricky business apparently, having to cope with fractures, deflections,...with salt domes in the Pre-Caspian basin. ie, to the North/ Northwest of the Caspian Sea generally being up to 900 yards thick and in the Tenge field...the oil is 3 miles down...hence the cautious 25m/day Per formation Rate. Some of the biggest Hydro Carbon finds in the world have been under Salt domes, ie, the North Sea fields and the US. With about a week to go...this share price will probably `tread water`....then it`ll be a simple case of either rocket or dive.....a lot of work has gone into this operation and reputations are now on the line, the successful oversubscribed rights issue indicates that a lot of people want this to succeed... with the 3D Seismic graph and Hydro Carbon Indicator, my gut feeling ( and the graph share price indication) is that it will be the former.....fingers crossed for this time next week.

the shares are still held in crest... however, they followed the rights up automatically.(paid for them a couple of days ago.

ps. a previous rns stated that they had good Hydro Carbon Indicators from the 703 Seismic readings......they never said on wells 303 or 301....yet both are producing wells.

pps.... the share price only hung around the $.4CAD,,,area for a couple of days.....the warrants are also climbing fast....

Huge volume on the TSX already - over 600k in the first minutes of trading. Most I've ever seen there I think

Cleo...I got mine through my broker...with regards to time frame. The very nature of investing is speculation on events within a company. All now swings on the 703 drill results....that`s the time frame...if this attains expectations it means that Ramseys new strategy is working....from then on...it could go anywhere.....having said that...up she goes... Canada is buying at 27p..

actually think I'm sitting pretty and will be doing no running here. Hope they have smooth finish to their drilling. Someone must know something judging from the Canadian share price reaction. What makes me particularly sick is that neither IG nor Selftrade could procure my RI shares for me - something about not being Crest and all aimed at the TSX. Did any UK people manage to get their allocation? I'd be interested because it has cost me a lot to have missed out on buying at 12.5p equivalent.

ps...drilled 2390m. which began `mid-march`......target, 2500 m...at an average drill rate of 24m/day.....that`s five more days drilling..
