about four weeks ago you could buy 8 CEK for a quid...now its only 3+....when the expected news breaks....it`ll then be only 2 for quid.

I do believe you are due (and deserve) a heap of good luck for the stalwart patience you have shown with some of these junior oil and gas explorers, many of which have become way oversold.

they must already be through the Triassic formation.....you never know,,,, may have been held up for Hydrocarbon analysis through the Triassic... on the way down to the Permian target..

The Board of Caspian Energy Inc., an oil and gas exploration company operating
in Kazakhstan, notes the recent movement in its share price. Drilling activity continues
on the Baktygaryn ž703 exploration well and has
not yet reached the target zone. The well is
currently at a depth of 2,391m and the Company is continuing to drill through the salt
overhang towards the Permian target. A further

Since 13/05 drilled afurther 646m that is approx 30m a day which is not very much so i assume they have had some probs on the way?

Still only just over 100m to go so fingers crossed

well done sali2...it was a large spread...it looks a bit more respectable now. Still waiting for the 703 drilling report,,,if it attains expectations, I doubt it will remain in the 30p range for long...good luck.

definitely news out....somewhere....I expect that today's 25% share movement rise will be responded by an rns referring to farm-ins.....that`s the `golden cross` sorted....only one way now. This will keep moving north......in anticipation of a positive drilling report on 703.

this company has had a rough time in the last couple of years....but now that the ex Nelson man Ramsey is control.... it should be a new a new ball game.

Up 31.65% in Canada now.25p to sell.Glad I topped up with the
first trade of 10K this morning.Will add again tomorrow if the
rise in Toronto is sustained.

Ramsey...an ex Nelson man is going for Alibekmola...as stated on the website...CEK`s field is adjacent to Alibekmola....probably the same reservoir.

"I am particularly proud of the progress KOA is making in the Alibekmola Field. Production has doubled since the beginning of the year and now averages over 11,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd). Based on the flow-rate data accumulated from completed wells and drilling plans as set out in the development schedule, the Company is on target to achieve its production goal of 50,000 bopd by 2005." In total, 50% of such production is net to Nelson.
